We have made some interesting discoveries around the land that is now The Stables at Floyd's Fork. Perhaps the most astonishing are the random fossil beds that we keep finding, and at some of the highest levels of the property. They make for a rich addition to our many cascading rock gardens, which are really starting to take shape. Why would we want a Wedding Weekend?

This is a question we get a lot. But, whether you realize it or not, most weddings end up being 3-4 days. The question is, do you want to have a home base, with plenty of seating and flexible food and drink options, or scramble to find and schedule a bunch of different locations with enough capacity for everyone?

Think about it:

Thursday afternoon, your out of town family and friends begin to arrive. They get checked into their hotel and then everyone meets for a drink SOMEWHERE.

Friday morning, one group heads out to play golf and another group gets their nails done and then everyone meets for lunch SOMEWHERE.

Friday evening, is your rehearsal and then rehearsal dinner SOMEWHERE.

Sunday morning, everyone checks out of their hotel and, before heading out of town, goes for brunch SOMEWHERE.
