The last 3 Fridays and Saturdays in October bring The Creepy Walk in the Woods to life and creatures come to visit and to do their favorite pastime... make you SCREAM!!! Because the creatures have a softer-side, (at least a mother who makes them) there is a special Kid's Day engagement, just for th

ose who are not ready to do the woods in the dark. Creatures of the dark get worn out by the end of October and they move along to make way for the most powerful magic of all:Christmas Magic! Make no mistake, this is not holiday or winter, THIS IS CHRISTMAS!!! Timelines and reality do not matter to The Savage Woods and as spring-time begins to bloom so does the Colorado Medieval Festival! Time travelers and loose interpretations of history allowed.

Christmas Walk in the Woods returns to The Savage Woods just west of Loveland.

Open nightly in December from the 13th to the 31st from 5 to 8pm, (closed Christmas Eve and Day). $7 per person, children under 5 are free for the lights only evenings.

December 14, 21, 22 and 23 will include a very special guest; one that will listen to wishes and give live status updates on the NAUGHTY OR NICE LIST. Musicians join Santa December 14, 21, 22 and 23rd. These special nights, the cost will be $13 per adult, $7
under 10, under 5 are free. Cameras are welcome and encouraged.

Head over the river and to the woods, just a little way out of town to the Christmas Walk in the Woods this December to hear the music and see the lights. Best of all meet SANTA! Just west of Loveland, under the stars of a Colorado sky. 1750 Savage Road, Loveland, Co 80538.

A complicated forecast today. Let me splain.
Areas of low clouds, patchy fog, and light drizzle due to all the moisture left over from yesterday's storms. This will factor into the forecast today.
Here's the skinny:
More clouds = more stable air = decreased storms
Less clouds = more sunshine = more instability = strong to severe storms and a threat for flash flooding due to slow moving storms.
We're in a monsoon type pattern where there's not a lot of wind shear aloft so storms today will push up and behave erratically like popcorn. They'll be slow movers so the threat of flash flooding is also possible.
Greatest threat of strong to severe thunderstorms exists along the immediate I-25 corridor as well as going west into the foothills.
Timing on or after 2pm.
I believe the farther away from I-25 you get towards the east, the better off you'll be. I'll update in real time; so be patient and I will keep you posted.

The 2024 Colorado Medieval Festival will be June 7th, 8th and 9th just west of Loveland in The Savage Woods, 1750 Savage Road, Loveland, CO. Friday the festival will open at 3pm and close at 6:30pm. Saturday and Sunday will open at 10am and close at 6:30pm.
