As expected, the Brick Church will be packed for tonight's concert. PLEASE RESPECT ALL OF OUR NEIGHBORS BY NOT PARKING ON THEIR LAWNS AND PARK ONLY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF CHRISTIAN HILL ROAD. ROOM IS NEEDED FOR TRAFFIC AND EMERGENCY VEHICLES. PLENTY OF PARKING IS AVAILABLE AT THE LIBRARY AND THE KEZAR REALTY OFFICE.

The sound of Rodney Marsalis's trumpet has reverberated throughout the world. Whether playing baroque piccolo trumpet or interpreting works commissioned especially for him, his artistry has been enthusiastically enjoyed inside of the United States and in many countries. He has been praised by music critics from Fanfare Magazine, American Record Guide, Records International Catalog, and other international publications for his evocative interpretation, impeccable virtuosity, and beauty of sound. A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Rodney Marsalis has worked under the guidance of world-renowned conductors. Saturday, August 3, at 7:00, he will perform a free concert at the Brick Church in Lovell. Rodney describes the concert as an eclectic mix of music from multiple genres. He will have a pianist accompanying him.

The 2024 Lovell Brick Church season starts on June 13th with Da Capo! We have a tremendous lineup including an evening with Rodney Marsalis on August 3rd. Our large windows are being repaired and painted while new carpeting has been installed. The schedule magnets are in so stop by or pick one up at stores around town.

A great show last night by John Waldie at the Denmark Arts Center! If you misssed last night's show, John will be performing at the Brick Church in Lovell this summer on July 11th. He will be performing his Reminiscing Concert, popular rock and pop hits from across the decades.
