Smile Events

I began as my mom's employee as she started her catering business. I loved it. I loved every aspect of events - the prepping, the setting up, the end result. I loved how happy events made people, and I wanted to be that reason one day. I surrounded myself with events, if it was a volunteer opportunity, school events, my first job, as long as it included events I was happy. I decided at 14 years ol

d that I was going to be an event coordinator, and decided that I was going to go to Roosevelt University. I did, and I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management. I began working at The Pavilion as an event intern, then moved up to an Assistant Event Coordinator, and my last year I was an Event Coordinator. I have coordinated a little over 200 weddings with my time at The Pavilion. I was also the Destination Development Intern with the Rockford Area Convention & Visitor's Bureau and helped plan Forest City Beautiful, Stroll on State, and planned Shop on State and 12 Bars of Christmas. I am now pursuing my Masters of Science in Hospitality Management. I hope to be a part of your event to create an unforgettable time for you and your guests.
