I finally made it downtown to check out some of this year's displays.. Amazing as always! Only had a short time to visit so hopefully I'll be able to get back soon to see the rest. The Stargate and Night Walkers (frogs) are located at Ah-Nah-Awen Park, the Sonic Runway is on the Gillett Bridge, and Permafrost is on the Blue Bridge.

No white Christmas this year, but we still had a beautifully calm and foggy morning here in Lowell.

Sith the season for a Star Wars Christmas story!
After becoming disillusioned with the commercialization of Christmas, Santa has lost his way and fallen to the dark side, now roaming the galaxy as Darth Claus hunting force sensitive younglings to sleigh.. Meanwhile, always full of cheer and joy, noble Jedi elf Buddy sets out to face his old master in hopes of restoring his lost Christmas spirt.. 😄🎅🏼🎄

After making some holiday tweaks to a costume I'd been working on, I sewed a cloak for my son's Buddy pj's so he could get in on the action too. We suited up for a quick shoot in the basement, then I used Bing Image generator to make some festive star wars themed backgrounds to edit us into 🤘

After making jedi outfits for my son and I, I got the idea to try and turn his ebike into a starwars speeder bike.. The EV- XF (extra fast)! Pulled out my trusty go-to crafting materials: cardboard, duct tape, and paint..with some sticky mirror paper.. And it turned out frickin awesome!
🤘🤘

We weren't allowed to bring it into Comic-Con unfortunately, so I had him suit up again today for a test drive.. It worked surprisingly well, and looked so good! All the neighborhood kids thought it was pretty fun too 😁

Saw this magical scene on a night bike ride with my son 🤩 Had to hurry back with the big camera to try and capture it before getting too dark.. I am definitely going to have to sit on this field for a few evenings! 🦌🧚‍♀️
