Branding sessions are *no joke* one of my favorite things to photograph! For many reasons.

1. I love meeting so many entrepreneurs and seeing how they infuse their personality into their work!

2. I am a big advocate for community over Competition, and I'm obsessed with helping other businesses THRIVE! I believe that professional photos are one way to help with that!

3. Every branding session is different and allows me to flex my creativity. How can I take the images in a way that best showcases what you do and what it's like to work with you. How can I make your headshots stand out. How can I photograph a product in a unique way.

I leave every session feeling so good about what we've just created and hopeful for how it will impact the clients' business and help them attract their idea clients!

Imagine this: You spend a couple of hours taking photos, and then you have images to use for your business for months, heck, years!

When you book a branding session with me, we work together to come up with a plan for what images you need, how you want them to feel, what you'll use them for, etc. Once we have a plan, we will be able to create a LOT of magic in a little amount of time on the day of your session. Nothing can prepare you for how much older your firstborn instantly looks once they become a big sibling, and yet nothing is sweeter than seeing them adore their younger sibling.

Baby Callum was an angel the entire session, Brooks was so sweet and loved throwing leaves and running around. It's so cliché, but we captured so many precious moments of this adorable growing family.

16 years ago, we were the "A team" when we worked at Culver's. 10 years ago, we became the "AP team" or "the Parker's." We were so young and had so much we wanted to accomplish together. We always talked about how I would start my own photography business so I could raise our kids + photograph weddings on the weekends while you stay home with the kids. Seeing that come to fruition is the absolute sweetest. It's better than I ever dreamed.

One of our very first interactions was when I was singing a song about scooping custard, and you said you wanted that song on your iPod. Now, my mini me sings songs about everything he's doing, just like his mama did 16 years ago, and your mini me looks at him with such adoration and dances to every song he sings.

When we go to a store and see two employees talking, when they should probably be in their departments, I smile and think about how Culver's managers tried to separate us by making me work in the kitchen, and you on drive-through. But nothing can stand between the love we have!

Thank you for sticking by my side through all the highs and lows. It's an honor to be your wife, Allan Parker. All my greatest moments have been with you. You've seen me at my best and at my worst and still love me the same. I'm so thankful for the life we've built together, and I look forward to what we'll do next! I love you forever!

This session really filled my cup... pun intended. But seriously, I feel so inspired after this session and so thankful that my job allows me to meet the sweetest people and use my creativity to capture their love stories in so many beautiful different locations.

"I think I might have prayed a little too hard" - Kimmie, regarding how it was supposed to rain on their wedding day, but instead was super warm and sunny!

Me, too, Kimmie. I always pray for good weather on wedding days!

The funny thing is, for their engagement session, it was supposed to rain, and we almost postponed it, but it ended up being very sunny that day too!! I think these two bring the good weather and good vibes wherever they go. They are the kindest couple ever, I've thought that from the moment we met on a Zoom call.

In 2023 I....

Went on a girl's trip to South Carolina, Visited my family back in Wisconsin twice, shared my story and gave advice to photography students at my Alma mater, found out I'm pregnant, took a blood test that said we were having another boy, later found out we were having a girl, turned 30, went to Mexico for the first time, celebrated 9 years of marriage to the love of my life, went on tons of adventures with Jude, transformed my website, updated my branding, worked with some of the sweetest people ever, took a train to the top on Mt. Washington, went deep sea fishing on Cape Cod, added a playroom to our house, gave birth to our Daughter. And those are just the highlights. My life is so rich. Thank you, Lord, for all your blessings on me in 2023, I pray for more of the same in 2024.

We had quite the wild Thanksgiving Day, but that's a story for another day. We are extra, extra thankful this year. Our healthy, beautiful baby girl is here, two days before her due date. Delivery went so smoothly. Jude is home with grandma; painting and baking and having a blast. We can't wait for him to meet his baby sister in person soon 🥰

Oh hey! Still pregnant. 39 weeks today. Place your arrival date guesses below. Jude's due date was January 26th, and he came on January 25th.
