Nothing can prepare you for how much older your firstborn instantly looks once they become a big sibling, and yet nothing is sweeter than seeing them adore their younger sibling.

Baby Callum was an angel the entire session, Brooks was so sweet and loved throwing leaves and running around. It's so cliché, but we captured so many precious moments of this adorable growing family.

16 years ago, we were the "A team" when we worked at Culver's. 10 years ago, we became the "AP team" or "the Parker's." We were so young and had so much we wanted to accomplish together. We always talked about how I would start my own photography business so I could raise our kids + photograph weddings on the weekends while you stay home with the kids. Seeing that come to fruition is the absolute sweetest. It's better than I ever dreamed.

One of our very first interactions was when I was singing a song about scooping custard, and you said you wanted that song on your iPod. Now, my mini me sings songs about everything he's doing, just like his mama did 16 years ago, and your mini me looks at him with such adoration and dances to every song he sings.

When we go to a store and see two employees talking, when they should probably be in their departments, I smile and think about how Culver's managers tried to separate us by making me work in the kitchen, and you on drive-through. But nothing can stand between the love we have!

Thank you for sticking by my side through all the highs and lows. It's an honor to be your wife, Allan Parker. All my greatest moments have been with you. You've seen me at my best and at my worst and still love me the same. I'm so thankful for the life we've built together, and I look forward to what we'll do next! I love you forever!

This session really filled my cup... pun intended. But seriously, I feel so inspired after this session and so thankful that my job allows me to meet the sweetest people and use my creativity to capture their love stories in so many beautiful different locations.

"I think I might have prayed a little too hard" - Kimmie, regarding how it was supposed to rain on their wedding day, but instead was super warm and sunny!

Me, too, Kimmie. I always pray for good weather on wedding days!

The funny thing is, for their engagement session, it was supposed to rain, and we almost postponed it, but it ended up being very sunny that day too!! I think these two bring the good weather and good vibes wherever they go. They are the kindest couple ever, I've thought that from the moment we met on a Zoom call.

In 2023 I....

Went on a girl's trip to South Carolina, Visited my family back in Wisconsin twice, shared my story and gave advice to photography students at my Alma mater, found out I'm pregnant, took a blood test that said we were having another boy, later found out we were having a girl, turned 30, went to Mexico for the first time, celebrated 9 years of marriage to the love of my life, went on tons of adventures with Jude, transformed my website, updated my branding, worked with some of the sweetest people ever, took a train to the top on Mt. Washington, went deep sea fishing on Cape Cod, added a playroom to our house, gave birth to our Daughter. And those are just the highlights. My life is so rich. Thank you, Lord, for all your blessings on me in 2023, I pray for more of the same in 2024.

Born today, November 24th, at 1:19am.
6lbs 5oz, 20 inches long.

We had quite the wild Thanksgiving Day, but that's a story for another day. We are extra, extra thankful this year. Our healthy, beautiful baby girl is here, two days before her due date. Delivery went so smoothly. Jude is home with grandma; painting and baking and having a blast. We can't wait for him to meet his baby sister in person soon 🥰

Alright, what's everyone eyeing or buying for cyber week? I ordered a heat pad for my neck and back because I remember how much pain I was in the last time I gave birth/started breastfeeding. And I also got a couple Christmas gifts 🤐 but I can't say what they are.

Oh hey! Still pregnant. 39 weeks today. Place your arrival date guesses below. Jude's due date was January 26th, and he came on January 25th. Baby girls' due date is November 26th.... will she follow Big Brother's lead and come on the 25th, too? I kinda hope so, because how cool would that be? Today, I have my last two photo sessions of the year, and then I'll be on maternity leave! Crazy. This year (and this pregnancy) has flown by! Julie and Ryan flew into Boston from TN for their engagement session at the beginning of the month. There may have been more mosquitoes and less fall foliage than we expected, but we had the best time together and captured some real gems 😍

Irene & Chris tied the knot in Ogunquit, ME, at Chris' families' house overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect setting, the perfect weather, which made for the most spectacular day for these two! You would never know that the day before, it was pouring rain and winds so strong it flipped the tables and broke their seating chart.

I am so honored to have spent the day with the new Mr. & Mrs. And their friends and family who came from near and far to celebrate.

The last time I photographed Ryanne she was probably 10, and I was about to graduate college, and now seeing her as this beautiful young woman about to graduate high school is pretty unreal.

This session was so much fun because I got to hang out with 3 of the 6 girls in this awesome family. I felt like I was part of the girl gang. Ryanne's mama, Kim, drove us from location to location, while her oldest sister, Miki (my bestie,) carried my gear and captured BTS. I had the best team and the most beautiful subject!

I used to babysit Hallie back when I was in high school and Hallie was 18 months old....and now she's almost 18 years old. So, nothing makes me feel so honored (and old) than when she asked me if I would take her senior photos!

We were talking about how this is a pretty full-circle moment seeing as I used the money I made babysitting to buy my very first camera, which was the kickstart to my photography career!

It was so fun telling Hallie stories of when she was little and hearing about her future plans. She has grown into a strong, intelligent, kind, driven, and beautiful young lady and I can't wait to see all that she accomplishes in the years ahead.

Just a little obsessed with this beautiful family 😍

Colette was an angel for her newborn photos, one year ago, and when she smiled for me on the first click this time around I knew it was going to be no different! Is she not the cutest!?
