Now that I've planned out several quinceañera's, it's something that I want to do more often. I love everything about it. From the unique traditions to the awesome party, I can plan out every aspect so you can sit back and enjoy the day with your daughter and not worry about a thing. As a wedding planner, it's not uncommon to put out fires (hypothetically), but today, it was literally. Well, Gulf Shores fire department put it out, but I called them. Yes, the house that we were having the wedding at caught on fire. It wasn't terrible but it very well could have been. My husband noticed the smoke and the firefighter in him came out and he jumped into action and tried to access the situation. I immediately call 911 and evacuated the house. A fire started in one of the columns and was quickly traveling up. It wasn't inside so that's good, but it did smoke up the inside a bit. Very eventful day in the life of an event planner. So if you're engaged, please consider hiring a planner or coordinator. It's so worth it.
