Come to the Harlan Center on Saturday August 3rd from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for summer fun before Back to School!

7/29: Laugh, Learn, & Craft- This Harlan County Cooperative Extension Service event will allow participants to create an edible fruit bouquet. The event begins at 10 a.m. The cost is $5 and anyone interested should call ahead to register.

8/1: Pony Rides at English Creek Stables from 4pm-6pm (weather permitting) - Get up close and personal with a horse encounter you won’t forget.

8/1: Food Truck Thursday- Food Truck Friday begins on Thursday this week! You’ll find Suzy Q’s, Rayna’s Refreshments , and Samantha’s Place at the Harlan Center on Thursday August 1st. Make a lunch time decision you won’t regret.

8/2: Food Truck Friday- You have two delicious options for Food Truck Friday at the Harlan Center this week! Enjoy Samantha’s Place or Barbecue by Jared Bryant in support of the HCHS Boys Basketball Team. Either option is going to send you away satisfied.

8/3: Yard Sale in the Park- Visit Burl Fee Memorial Park to shop this community yard sale. Find your next second hand treasure from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Evarts, KY. Learn more at Explore Evarts!

8/3: The Last Splash- If you’ve enjoyed Spray and Play at the Harlan Center this summer, don’t miss the last splash of the year. Come to the Harlan Center on Saturday August 3 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Inflatables are free and there will be free snow cones for the first 50 kids under the age of 12. You can enjoy Taco Holler Food Truck & Catering and Hawaiian Shaved Ice while you play! Don’t miss this summer fun before it’s back to school!
