Job Description:
Are you an experienced chef with a talent for crafting exceptional meals for large groups? We are seeking a Banquet Chef who can deliver high-quality, delicious food for events ranging from 30 to 200 guests. Whether the meal is plated or served buffet-style, we expect our chef to consistently produce dishes that leave a lasting impression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals for groups ranging from 30 to 200 guests.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared with precision, quality, and attention to detail. Learning executive chef Angie’s methods and modalities for her cuisine.
- Adapt to both plated and buffet-style service, maintaining consistency and excellence.
- Collaborate with our team to learn and implement our unique presentation and seasoning techniques.
- Participate in trial runs to showcase your culinary skills before being hired.
- Uphold the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and food safety.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Banquet Chef or similar role.
- Strong understanding of large-scale food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A teachable attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to our culinary style.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Salt by Angie is seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Specialist to join our team. This management role offers a unique opportunity for the right person to excel and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for excellence and thrive under pressure, this position is perfect for you.
**Responsibilities:**
- **Dish Management (40%)**: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, set up dish stations, operate dishwashing machines, and ensure that all dish areas are free of clutter.
- **Kitchen Maintenance (20%)**: Clean and maintain kitchen spaces, including machines, cooking surfaces, and floors. Handle trash removal and ensure all areas are sanitized, including storage areas like freezers and refrigerators.
- **Event Preparation (20%)**: Follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to pack for events, ensuring all necessary items are correctly prepared and organized.
- **Chef Assistance (20%)**: Support chefs and staff in meeting production goals, contributing to the overall efficiency of kitchen operations.
**Requirements:**
- **Physical Stamina**: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day.
- **Driving**: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- **Work Environment**: Our staff is smoke-free, and employees must not smell of smoke or other harsh fragrances due to the nature of our work.
