So you call a flower shop and place an order for a month out over the phone - the florist writes down all of your info and tells you she will send you a receipt shortly - walk in customer comes in and picks up an arrangement and is checked out. You go back to processing the order for previous customer and the phone rings - “it’s been 10 minutes and still no receipt.” Florist explains that he has not been charged yet florist is immediately accused of keeping credit card information to scam customer later. Cancel the order and forget the whole thing with a few more choice words.

Next customer goes to Google and accuses shop of writing down information to use credit card at a future date when he hasn’t even been charged the first time. If that was your worry, then wouldn’t you feel better coming in person to place the order? Why do people feel the need to be so ugly and demanding? I just don’t understand.
