It was an honor hosting Upbring’s Boots and Ballgowns Gala 2024 at Kitalou Gin! We’re thrilled to see the event’s success and love hosting corporate events like these. We’re proud to offer our venue for all types of memorable gatherings. Here’s to many more successful events at Kitalou Gin! 🥂

We didn’t know this “perfect job” existed, outside of our day-to-day passions for production agriculture. What was envisioned to serve as a locale to store pumpkins and educate the community about production agriculture, quickly developed into a pivotal season of life for our family and others. We came to understand this “perfect job” allowed us to: Work Outside; Get Our Hands Dirty; Be Creative; Work Alongside Family; Grow Each-Others Work Ethic; Be Surrounded By Beauty; Tell Our Story; Bring People Together. From late nights working under the Makita lights as we articulated our vision to our first set of eager families…To strategies developed in parking cars and setting tables…. To the hands-on training from the multitude of vendors we worked alongside…. To the last 7 years of “good-byes” extended to all our families, including the final heartfelt “good-bye” following our final Wedding in December, we look back and see God’s vision for it all. Kitalou allowed our Family the opportunity to step off the Farm and learn a life-lesson in how hard-work, showing kindness, and investing in another family’s journey can positively impact our own lives. Our ultimate vision for Kitalou was a West Texas Cotton Gin to serve as more than a wedding venue. Kitalou embraced the rustic elegance West Texas exhibits while embracing a sophisticated, welcoming, and loving charm. It’s like we told our Brides for 7 years, “At the end of the day, you’re going to be married. It’s about the journey and experience you create with the ones you love that makes all the difference.” As we sit back and reflect on Kitalou, and her impact on our lives, gratitude is simply the greatest descriptor of it. As our family takes aim at the next vision, we are leaving Kitalou into another WTX hardworking family’s hands; BUT, we cannot say ‘thank you’ enough to all of you.
