I'm a member of the . At 18 and 19 years old, young men and women have the opportunity to serve a mission for the church. They pay their own way, don't get to choose where they will serve or if they'll learn a new language, and they leave their home lives on hold until they return.
I love taking photos for future missionaries. There is something special about their willingness to sacrifice so much.

My husband has graduated from medical school, and we are off to Louisiana so he can start residency. I'm bummed to be leaving all my Lubbock clients, but I'm hopeful to find some new ones in Shreveport!
