Congratulations to our January Team Member of the Month, Markey!

Markey has been with our team since April. While he typically works in the back of house, he makes a point to stop by the front to check in on how the team’s day is going. He enjoys the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich with American cheese added. His favorite part of work is coming in in the morning and turning on the music in the back, getting the day started right.

In his free time, Markey spends time with his family and enjoys attending Texas Tech athletic events across all sports. He plans to continue working hard and advancing at Chick-fil-A while also focusing on his catering business.

Markey was chosen as the South Plain’s Mall TMOM because he is a true team player who is always willing to help others while also adding fun to everyone’s day.

Congratulations to our November Team Member of the Month, Ruby!

Ruby has been with our team since this summer. You can find her doing everything in the front of the restaurant, from taking guests’ orders to touching up the dining room. Her go-to order is our Nuggets with Polynesian Sauce. For Ruby, the best part of work is her leaders and the care they show to the entire team.

When she's not at work, Ruby enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She’s also excited to graduate from school so she can have more quality time with the people she loves most.

Ruby was chosen as the South Plains Mall Team Member of the Month because she consistently cares for our guests and strives for excellence in everything she does.

Congratulations to our October Team Member of the Month, Opal! 🏆

Opal joined our team this past summer and spends her days in the kitchen making our delicious food. Her favorite meal is a classic Chicken Sandwich Meal with either Chick-fil-A sauce or our Zesty Buffalo sauce. She loves coming to work alongside coworkers who are welcoming, kind, and ready to work.

In her free time, Opal loves to play basketball. Although she is not currently in school, she hopes to major in criminal justice or a related field to become a probation officer.

Opal was chosen as the South Plains Mall Team Member of the Month because of her ability to take direction well, her willingness to serve, and the great pride she takes of her work in the kitchen.

Congratulations to our September Team Member of the Month, Jack V!

Jack started on our team this past summer. You will find him anywhere in the back of the restaurant, but his favorite place to be is breading our delicious nuggets and sandwiches!
His go-to order is a plain spicy sandwich with Chick-fil-A sauce—according to him, the only correct choice! The best part of coming to work is seeing all of his coworkers that treat one another like family.

Jack is currently a junior at Texas Tech getting his degree in Music Education. He wants to perform and teach others about music full-time when he graduates. In addition to school, he has many hobbies that keep him busy outside of work. He loves to go bowling, to rollerblade at the park, or just hang out and listen to music.

Jack was chosen as the South Plains Mall TMOM because of his heart for service. He consistently pitches in with a genuine smile, embodying the spirit of teamwork.

Maribel has been a part of the Chick-fil-A family for an impressive 27 years! She can often be found in the back, prepping delicious meals.

Her favorite is the Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich with no pickles and American cheese. She loves her job because everyone on the team shares the same vision. She appreciates the environment, the flexible schedule, and the work that she does.
In her free time, Maribel enjoys going to the movies, playing bingo, spending time with her dog at the park, and going out to eat.

This is Josephine! She has been with us for 4 months. We are so grateful because of the care and time she takes to connect with our guest and ya’ll let us know how you appreciate it yourselves. She has 3 kids and loves watching Disney movies with them. If she isn’t eating Chick-fil-A, she likes Chinese food. When you come and have lunch with us, make sure you tell her “Hi”!
