Absolutely beautiful, love this time of year!

We spent Friday evening shooting wedding portraits with Alissa and Jacob, at McChesney Ridge, in Lucasville, Ohio. It was such a perfect fall evening, and all the colors were just popping! 🔥
Alissa looked absolutely stunning! We fell in love with the unique headpiece she wore, and she also literally made the gorgeous bouquet that morning! 😍

Even if you aren’t registered or on the waiting list and would like to get some trail miles in, come on out anytime during the dates listed below. You are more than welcome to run as many laps as you would like.

Dates: Thursday January 13th- Monday January 17th Runners
A group run will take place at the starting line on Saturday January 15th @ 9am.

We are ready to welcome all runners, crew, and spectators for another fun year.

The 2022 Ohio’s Backyard Ultra registration opened at midnight last night and sold out just 45 minutes later! The waitlist is currently open.

There are still 15 slots open that are being reserved for the 5 winners of “Bronze Ticket” races in our “Road to Bigs” Bracket, as well as 10 more special consideration entrants. It’s going to be a great time next March!

We would like to thank Coach Corey Culbertson and Eastern Pike's Cross Country team for renting the Ridge and hosting some talented young runners from all over. They had a guest speaker Michael Owen, a talented trail runner and former Shawnee State Runner, ran the trails, grilled out and swam!
It is refreshing to see the young so invested in the sport of running!

Now that the dust has settled and everyone has hopefully had some R&R. We would like to say we really appreciate everyone and their commitment to the sport of Ultra Running! Year 3 was by far a crowd favorite (even in other countries!!)
