Greetings to all our new followers! We are excited to introduce ourselves and provide some information about Cottonwood Barn.
Seward Farms is a 5th Generation row crop & cattle farm. We believe that our farm is more than land and crops. It’s our family’s heritage and future. What began as a 360 acre dairy farm in 1938, now carries on the legacy of the later generations farming over 5000 acres. In 2002 Seward Farms joined the ranks in the Agri-Toursim business opening to the public, Seward Farms Maze.
In 2023, we embarked on a comprehensive remodeling project for our building. If you visited us that fall, you may recall that the renovations were still underway. We are pleased to announce that the project is now fully completed.
Cottonwood showcases exquisite rough cut wood walls, elegantly stained concrete floors & architectural brick columns, complemented by charming farmhouse-style glass doors. Nestled within the vibrant landscape of a genuine working farm, Cottonwood merges the rustic charm of Mississippi countryside with contemporary conveniences to create an idyllic setting. Cottonwood offers a harmonious blend of outdoor activities and a sophisticated indoor space, delivering an unparalleled experience that is uniquely available at Cottonwood Barn, Seward Farms. Cottonwood has a seating capacity of 500 guests. We have hopes that this addition seamlessly integrates our outdoor activities, with an indoor event space to elevate your events by ensuring a memorable and unparalleled experience for all attendees.
We are proud to be opening the doors for Corporate Events, such as holiday parties, church functions, employee appreciations and meetings; and private events such as, family reunions, showers, wedding receptions, engagement parties and graduation parties.
