Last night was so fun! 🤩 these gals painted a fireworks scene AND some awesome matching earrings! 😍 we were able to raise around $100 to go towards the fireworks display this year.

👋♥️If you’d like to make a contribution, you can send in a donation of any amount to the Ludington Area Jaycees PayPal, or write a check to the organization. There’s still a LOT of the $50,000 that needs to be covered for the Ludington Freedom Festival this year. Please help them to spread the word on collecting donations!

We hope you all have a wonderful and safe 4th of July holiday! 🇺🇸 We will be CLOSED that day to enjoy the holiday, but we will be open Friday and Saturday 12-5pm as normal for drop-ins!

Just a reminder, we will be CLOSED on Thursday to celebrate Independence Day! 🇺🇸

😎July is HERE! ☀️⛱️
We have another lineup of great classes, plus our regular drop-in hours will remain the same (Tuesdays 5-8pm, Thursday-Saturday 12-5pm). ‼️We will have a few drop-in dates that we will be CLOSED: on the 4th, and 26th-27th, so we can enjoy the best of summer, too! Note: if it rains on our camping plans at the end of the month, we WILL be open, because I don't feel like sitting in a soggy tent all day 😝 just keep an eye on our page for updates!

I can't believe I almost forgot to post the photo results from the last class at Kristi's Pour House! These folks did an awesome job painting these stags/deer in the woods! Some chose to add the Michigan outline to it 🤩 (video tutorial coming soon! Let me know in the comments if you're interested)

Wowweee!! 🤩 Yesterday, I painted the BIGGEST 'canvas' I've ever made a painting on!! It was a bit intimidating, but SO much fun!! I've always wanted to paint a giant mountain scene like this! It was so bright and cheery to look at, especially during these dreary days. And it was all a surprise, for Sarah Caleb Visscher (Caleb's birthday!) Sarah was able to sneak me into the garage and get this painted while he was out working on some other things (the kids had to do a little convincing that he couldn't come into the garage yet because they were "cleaning" it haha).

I feel so honored to leave a big piece of my ♥️art behind like this, to hopefully inspire them each day as they walk out to the garage! The kids loved to watch the process, and it was fun to get to hang out with them a little as I painted 🥰 they did a great job keeping this a surprise for their dad!

I’m LOVING all the paint pARTies happening lately!! 🥰 🤩 🎨 🍷 I’m so grateful for these events, an opportunity for community and creativity ♥️ painting with other women (and men!) while enjoying some great food and drink is one of my favorite ways to spend an evening!

I told this group while we painted “Starry Night” that it feels a bit emotional, after having to turn away from these events for so long during the pandemic - it’s something that I thought might never come back again, or at least not look the same. See, I taught paint parties regularly for about 5 years, until it was taken away almost in an instant in March 2020, with little to no warning. I used to teach these classes at The Blu Moon Bistro and other local restaurants and shops almost monthly, and now, it’s been about 4 years since that last happened on a regular basis. It’s taken 4 years to get back to something I thought might be gone for good. So that makes me feel extra grateful for these connections and opportunities to serve our customers in this way, while partnering with other small businesses. ♥️ ✨

I’m SO excited and hopeful for the future and all the opportunities to provide great creative experiences in our community and online!
