In 2015, my husband bought me my first $500 camera on Black Friday. I filmed my first wedding in 2017 (heyyyy Kelsey Knight) and had zero experience. I was just doing it as a favor. I was obsessed with the creativity behind the lens though. I filmed a few other weddings for friends (Kim Weatherford Stewart Courtney Stewart Clifton), but still felt like I didn’t know enough or have the right equipment. My husband was my biggest encourager (& those sweet friends that paid me to film even though I was new to the business🤍). We eventually bought a drone (Jody Page Cook is the best drone pilot), made a business page, and started being confident in what I could do with what I had. This week I finally got to upgrade my camera and purchase a gimbal. I am so proud of how far PJP has come! Can’t wait to capture all of my 2024 brides with this new beauty!🥹🤩 Peep my cutie assistant in her heatless curls that she did herself…I’m sure a tutorial video is coming soon on “Amelia Joyful Day” YouTube (IYKYK)😂
