Sorry, y'all. No Court today. I'm not comfortable towing with stuff on the roads. I know the main roads are fine, more or less, but just takes one spot of ice to make a trailer squirrely, and that's not the kind of fun I want today. We'll try again next time.

Meanwhile, enjoy this pic of the burger I made for lunch yesterday. It's called a Juicy Lucy. Not my invention. Has cheese sandwiched between 2 patties (I added fresh sliced jalapeño) and I opted for a grilled, inside-out bun. Stupid good. Possible truck addition?

Just Court St for public events this week. All the rest are private gigs, which are pretty cool too.

So, sorry y'all, but NO GOODE this Friday. Next week looks good still, so just one week. I'm pretty bummed about that. I really dig chatting with everybody out there.

This is Luke. In addition to being one of the most loving, kindest people you'll ever meet, he's also a pizza machine. He pours his heart and soul into every pizza he makes. Dang near poster quality everytime.

People have asked me over thebyears what makes Upper Crust special, or how we've made it 20 years. Luke, and myriad other staff members luke him are how. We cannot do what we do without them. Of course, 60+ pie orders help too. Thanks to passionate staff, thanks to loyal customers. You complete us.

Unexpected surprise for Goode tonight.

This is Gabe, whom you have also seen on the trucks and in the restaurant for years. This is him when he got his learner's. He's a good driver.

Seems he has a free evening and has asked to hang with me in Goode tonight. Pretty awesome when a teen chooses to hang with a parent. No more solo mission. Today is a great day. Catch you later.

Today was Pizza Day for a group of hardworking folks that don't have any lunch options around. They really dig it when we're there and always clean us out. Tomorrow, we're cooking them cheesesteaks and fries. We don't offer cheesesteaks often, but when we do, it's done the right way with 100%, ribeye steak and fresh veggies, all hand-sliced in-house. It's how I would want someone to cook for me, so it's how we do it for you.

Pizza on Court Wednesday Pizza in Goode Friday First harescramble of the year Sunday. I love this time of year. We're getting lots of calls and emails for events and spots are filling up fast. Holler if you have something coming up.

Today was burger day on Court, and a regular customer asked for a chopped beef sandwich. I've seen a few videos but never made one. So we agreed on how to go about it, and away we went. Hos looked really good, so Jaylen and I made some for ourselves as well. Overall, very tastey, very messy, a little longer to make. Maybe less messy with hoagie roll, but hamburger bun was all we had. May add as a menu option in the future. Thoughts?
