Hello friends! We're gearing up to kick off a very, very busy fall wedding season. At an event today, I was approached by a bride-to-be and told, "you're that awesome tattooed florist all my friends told me about!" My reply was "Yes ma'am, I guess that is me?!" 🤣

After being in the business as long as I have, I thought I should do a little intro of sorts. I am Jamie, the owner of Southern Hospitality Florals - I am the tattooed florist/mastermind behind SoHo. I opened SoHo in 2018 after being in the floral industry for several years. Since 2018 and solely specializing in wedding and events, SoHo has served well over 100 brides and their families all over central Virginia, and traveling to the Virginia coast, as well as various cities in North Carolina. It has been quite the adventure and has grown tremendously each year we've been in business.
The artistic aspect that I get to bring to life in each wedding is so rewarding. Many hours are spent working with each individual to learn what they are looking for so that I can develop their vision and ultimately, create it with flowers.

Fun facts -
1. I am horrible at social media and taking pictures of my work. Hence why this page is so sparse.
2. I have 5 sons - 3 that I gave birth to and twins that I've helped raise since they were 8 months old.
3. Peppermint chapstick is my vice.
4. I got accepted into art school at 19, with a scholarship, but it would have required moving to Charlotte, NC. I love to draw but haven't in years.
5. Dogs > people. Enough said.
6. I am a foodie. I love to cook. And eat.
7. Being outdoors makes my soul happy. I don't care what I'm doing, if I'm outside, my world is instantly better.
8. I have worked in healthcare in various capacities. Recently, I've joined a team of individuals and company that I'm overjoyed to be a part of.
9. I don't have a favorite color.
10. Traveling with my boys is one of my all time favorite things to do.
