There’s enough joy in simply saying the word “ranunculus”, let alone bearing witness to their beauty when you bring them home and watch their life unfold in vase.

They’ll be tucked away in bouquets and arrangements and we’ll have a few bunches available as well. We hope to see you on the farm today or tomorrow! ☀️

🌸 cut flower species will be hard to find colors + long stemmed varieties of your favorite annuals (with a few perennials) like cosmos, zinnias, lisianthus, marigolds, celosia, ageratum and more

🪴herbs will include culinary favorites like basil, mints, oregano, thyme, dill and fennel. We’ll also have a variety of herbs specific to plant medicine like comfrey, nettle, chamomile, calendula and feverfew.

Meet your farmer Monday 👩‍🌾

🌼 MEGAN 🌼 is entering into her fourth (!!) season on the farm and today also happens to be her BIRTHDAY!!! 🎊 She is now our farm manager and wears so many hats and looks fab in all of them! 👒

To mention just a few:

💐she designs every gorgeous wedding bouquet, boutonnière, and arrangement that leaves the farm
💪she leads our part time crew and volunteers
🌷 creates beautiful flyers, stickers, and digital content for us (if you saw a cute poster around time over the holidays- that was all Megan)
🌱 she can harvest, w**d, and plant circles around the rest of us
💕 her attention to detail and organization skills keep the entire team in check
🐈 she loves the farm cats like her children, protects them and makes sure they’re warm n cozy.

This year she surprised us and designed an ISF barn quilt that is so stunning, thoughtful and creative and will adorn our barn for years and years to come.

Leave Megan a birthday message in the comments!

We are so lucky to have such an intelligent, wise, thoughtful, strong talented woman on our team. 🌷

Big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to the farm today! 🌷

Let’s be honest- It’s super easy to just buy flowers at the grocery store instead of driving to the local farm…But you all SHOWED UP for us today.

Every season on opening day we always say something along the lines of “Hope everyone remembers us…” after what feels like a long winter with no patrons. Growing flowers in February was daunting, but now we could not more delighted that we took the risk.

We will have more flowers available tomorrow in the cooler but come early! We open at 9 am.

Thank you Lynchburg! 💐

Why we grow flowers

We are committed to the benefit that nature and the garden brings to us. We believe that the garden awakens our best selves, teaches us through its cycles, and and hints at the infinite that swirls in and around us.

We simply sell cut flowers. Life is enriched by including flowers in the spaces where we live and work.
