CNN Interview On Flood Damages
Our little community has been getting a lot of national attention. Yesterday CNN and HLN reached out to us concerning some of the flood damage that occured at our property.
Bella Rose Ceremony Site Destroyed in Flood
As many of you know, last night, Bella Rose Plantation’s ceremony site was flooded and destroyed during the storm. The owners and staff of the venue were coincidentally on-site for a personal event, and were able to watch the mayhem unfold. While we are certainly heartbroken about the damage our venue incurred, we are more concerned about the widespread damage to the Lynchburg community. Last night, many lost their homes and vehicles to the flood. Others spent all night pumping water out of their basements. However, we are beyond thankful that there were no lives lost in this tragedy. We would like to thank our community for the love and outreach Bella Rose has received in the past day. We are truly appreciative of your kind words, support, and willingness to help during this time. However, the destruction of our venue is far less consequential than the destruction of the community around it. It may take a lot of hard work, but Bella Rose Plantation will soon be restored and in better shape than ever. Until then, our hearts and our focus go out to the individuals who lost more than we did last night. #LynchburgStrong
Bella Rose Transformation 2013-2018
In just five short years, Bella Rose Plantation went from a run-down, abandoned piece of property, to Lynchburg's most unique, lively, and breathtaking wedding and event venue. This incredible transformation took a lot of hard work and planning from hundreds of dedicated individuals, but the result was more than worth it.
