Client: “We would like a grazing table.”
Us: “No problem!”
Client: “But make it all desserts.”

Challenge accepted!

Thank you to Chasity and Hunter for the opportunity to create this amazing dessert grazing table for them!

With 15 different dessert options to choose from there was absolutely something for everyone!

We overheard so many “ohhhs” and “ahhhs” but our favorite comment of the day was, “this is the craziest dessert table I have ever seen!” We think so, too!

And thank you to Sweet Tooth Candy for the gumballs, gummy bears and melting chocolates. They were the finishing touch on this masterpiece!

May is always a busy month for weddings but this year has been particularly busy. May 17th seemed to be a really popular day to get married and Friends catered not one, not two, but THREE weddings at the exact same time.

Fruit displays, a nacho bar, chicken marsala, mac and cheese, a pasta bar, beef tips, and spinach strawberry salad were just a few of the delicious menu selections.

As always, our amazing staff helped us pull off the impossible and we had three very happy couples!

Fantastic News Friday!

We are so excited to announce that we were one of the winners of the Women and Minority-Owned Business Technical Assistance Microgrant! Made possible by Freedom First Credit Union.

Over 70 businesses attended the grant seminar, 25 businesses submitted grant proposals and 10 were selected as winners!

We will use this grant to enhance our online presence by building a new, more interactive website, upgrade signage for our storefront and expand into what is a frequent client request, bartending services!

By using these funds to hire other women and minority-owned local businesses to help us with the website and sign upgrades we keep the dollars local and support entrepreneurship!

Thank you to this very special family who trusted us to provide food for their sweet kiddo’s 8th birthday.

Fairy doors, mushrooms, woodland creatures and the forest set the scene for a fun, interactive meal for all the little gnomes who gathered for the party!

No matter how young or how old our clients, we want your experience with Friends to be fun and delicious!

They had an intimate ceremony and reception at a beautiful house on Smith Mountain Lake where their friends and family gathered to celebrate this beautiful couple!

January is usually the time where we have a moment to breathe after a busy fall wedding season that goes directly into an even busier holiday catering season.

This January though, you guys have kept us busy! Volunteer banquets, celebrations of life and tastings for new clients have filled our books!

We are grateful to be busy during what should be our slow time. Thank you!

Our Chicken Marsala and Beef Stroganoff were the stars of a recent holiday event we catered. These two entrees were paired perfectly with our string beans and roasted potatoes and really wowed the crowd!
