Another week over here.

I LOVE that every last stem in these beauties was either grown on my soil or on a nearby flower-farming friend’s. Thank you Eidle Wilde Flower Farm & Designs and C & D Floral and Produce for sharing your bounty. 😘

I even had enough leftover short stemmed bitties to put together a sweet something for the North County Christ the King front desk. 🥰

Flowers bring me such a sense of peace and joy. There’s something so relaxing and soul-filling in the dilly-dallying down rows of flowers, snipping your picks and then mixing up a masterpiece.
But I’m sure you’re with me in the ‘I Love Flowers’ club… probably preaching to the choir here! 🤭😂

Well… not gonna lie, life has been nuts for this flower farming Mama lately, so I was so happy to spend some flower-therapy time in my shop today.

It’s high time for a new proper ‘Hello’!
I haven’t met so many of you in person (yet), so we’ll have to settle for a virtual introduction.

I’m Tiffany. 🙋🏼‍♀️ I like flowers… a lot. I also like people. And my family. And my land and animals. And music. And all things creative. And my Jesus. If you too, enjoy any of those things, I’m so glad you’re here!

My husband Dillon and I bought our farmhouse and property from his dear maternal grandparents, who used to run a dairy farm here called ‘Maidenfair Holsteins’. You see, Grandpa Ivan and Grandma Kay raised 3 fair maidens in this house, just as we are now. How neat is that? They did cows, we do flowers, but the maidens we have in common. So the Maidenfair in the name is a heartfelt nod to the land’s history and gives honor to those dear to us. We are so blessed to be continuing the legacy of family and farming on the same dirt as our loved ones.

I absolutely LOVE that my crazy, smart, spunky and cute maidens get to grow up here, running in the flower fields, building campfires, exploring hay mows, chasing cats, sledding on snow drifts and spotting summer stars. ⭐️ This business has grown out of my desire to be here with my kids while they’re small, but still keep my hands busy and do what I can to help support our family and dreams.

Who else is excited for buckets full ‘o blooms come summer?!

Seriously one of my most favorite things to do on the planet is walk through my rows of Dahlias, taking note of their individual beauty - the colors, the shapes, the styles, their habits and personalities. Overwhelmed by their gorgeousness and the intricacies of God’s designed creation down to each petal and leaf.
😲🤓😍

A few varieties are sold out, but still over 50 are available in my tuber shop. I start shipping first week of April, or if you’re local to Lynden, WA, you can skip the shipping cost and grab them at the farm April 13.

Ok Party People… Today’s the day!!

Online Dahlia Tuber Sale is LIVE!

If you’ve never grown these wonders before, here’s how it works:
• I send you a strange ugly looking root thing (it will be stamped with its variety name and will have a visible eye where the plant sprouts from.)
• You keep it somewhere cool and dry, wait until the lilacs are blooming (or late April/early May in our zone) and pop it in the ground a few inches down with the eye pointing up.
• Exercise patience here. Then watch as that little sprout becomes a whole bushy plant giving you tons of stems of beautiful blossoms to cut and enjoy. 😍
• Get addicted and want new varieties next year. Sorry, it’s just what happens! 🤷‍♀️😂

At this time I can’t ship to Canada 😫. But here in the US I will ship to you with USPS priority mail, flat rate boxes. OR if you’re local to Lynden WA, and want to skip the shipping fee, you can pick up at our spring market on the farm April 13.

Dahlia Tuber Sale begins on tomorrow’s tomorrow (as my daughters like to say 😍)-Friday at 10am PST. 🥳

I’ve settled on 60 varieties/cultivars to offer in my shop collection this year, and I think you’re gonna love them!

Feel free to take a peek at the collection with images and descriptions on my website. Please note that each item is temporarily labeled as ‘Out of Stock’, which allows you to see them before the sale is live. On Friday morning at 9am, they will no longer be up for viewing so I can update each stock quantity for the main event starting at 10am.
