Eventually.... Everyone needs a makeover!

We wanted to share some before and after pictures of a few of the areas as they are coming together in our complete renovation of our soon to be *NEW* LOCK27 Retail & Café Experience coming to Lyons, New York this year! It is conveniently located just down the street from its sister store The Christmas Store of New York and overlooking the historic Erie Canal. For anyone who has ever started a simple project and then realized... yeah! This is going to need a little more effort.... then you can appreciate where we are as we move along. We'll keep the updates and photos coming, and you can follow our progress here and on our related websites, which are also in the process of being updated as we get ready for opening! Just a reminder that the Parks & Trails New York Annual Clean Sweep weekend is coming up soon. Please check out the link below to register and be sure to follow your local community social media pages for any individual efforts to organize groups for that event.

LOCK27 has always supported this event and encouraged local groups to stage their efforts at our deck area overlooking the Historic Erie Canal.

We have also made it a priority to provide a large trash can at the top of the Lyons Dock, in conjunction with the Town of Lyons, to remind people that keeping our Canalway clean, for our residents and our visitors, is not limited to one weekend out of the year.

Please do your part, and encourage others to do the same, to participate this weekend as well as throughout the year!

Canal Clean Sweep is an annual statewide clean-up event that occurs along major greenways across New York State to celebrate Earth Day. Clean-ups primarily occur along the Erie and Champlain Canalways, the Glens Falls Feeder Canal, the Black River Feeder Canal, and the Rochester Riverway.
