Remember to support small businesses this holiday season! 🥂✨
“Small businesses are the heartbeat of your neighborhood, the spine of your local economy, and the spirit of your town.” ✨
This Holiday season more than ever we’d like to spotlight some of the many local businesses who we appreciate and work with (or have worked with) this year and those previous. Without the mutual support between us all, we aren’t able to do many of the things we do 🫶🏼
Supporting small business gives us the opportunity to do good in our community whether it be through toy drives, fundraisers, and other acts of service for those in need.
Consider these great people, places, and businesses in Bath and the surrounding areas if you are still Christmas Shopping (and of course for any occasion afterward) ⤵️
⭐️The Liberty Street Pub, Inc. Aside from being our neighbor, (& our home away from home 🤍) plus who we come to when we run out of an ingredient or need a plastic cup or two - The Pub has the best chicken wings and prime rib hands down, no contest. They are packed every Friday for Brent’s fish fry and clam chowder, too. This place is an invaluable staple in Bath, and an excellent dining choice should you find yourself hungry!
⭐️ Tub Town Brewing Right around the corner from us, these guys are doing great things! From fresh brews (prickly pear-a-dise is our favorite 🌺) to Detroit deep dish style pizza, this is a must stop.
⭐️ Keeta’s On Liberty is a great breakfast choice, along with Stephanie's Family Restaurant - check their pages for daily specials 🍴
⭐️ Paradise Printing Dale has helped us several times from birthday invitations to flyers for fundraisers - check out this print shop for all of your printing and marketing needs!
⭐️ Southern Tier Provisions, Inc. Tony & Kim have an amazing gem on 415. From a fresh deli counter, to craft beer, and everything in between - this is where we get our cannoli shells and amazing ricotta for our cannoli cream (Check out Sopra Cheese Co. for all things cheesy and delicious)
⭐️ Valley Inn Heading toward Branchport? The valley has the best of everything. Open on Sundays, amazing food and staff, music in the summer and an outdoor bar and patio area for hanging out. One of our absolute favorites.
⭐️ ChrisB's Is *that* food truck. We’ve done some cannolis for Chris before - he has lots of gluten free options for those needing them, and his food is out of this world. If you are needing good, fresh, amazing food that will travel, this is who we recommend every time.
⭐️ Finger Lakes Beer Company, LLC Mark & Lynn have the best dog friendly brewery hands down. Outdoor seating, live music and food trucks, and so many fun events and things that Katie (our favorite) schedules. Their watermelon wheat has my heart, and the delicious oatmeal stout is the only thing we put in our car bomb cupcakes for St Paddy’s.
⭐️ Weis Vineyards We’ve said it so many times but they’ve got the best wine and Peter and Ashlee do an amazing job of bringing such an incredible winery to the finger lakes.
⭐️ Point of the Bluff Vineyards also has a sweet little spot on Keuka with wonderful wine, concerts, fresh farmers markets we were so happy to be a part of, and other awesome events with a killer view.
⭐️ StoneView Leslie was one of the makers at the POBV markets, and she makes the most incredible handmade charcuterie boards, cheese markers, coasters and more. She also grows beautiful fresh lavender! Check out her page and her shop for some really nice gifting ideas.
⭐️ 2nd Bite Farm These guys have *the* sourdough. Everything I’ve had from them from the loaves to the cinnamon rolls to the sandwich/dinner rolls hits the spot every single time. They are located in Bath and also have fresh chicken, eggs, and more.
⭐️ Engravers Plus Dolly & Dean assisted us for some really nice plaques we needed for our Buffalo Bills photo frames! They offer an array of services from engraving to embroidery and are located right on Buell Street!
⭐️ Nails Plus Tanning Salon & Hair Studio Need a beauty service? Do yourself a favor and check out Nails Plus! These ladies are doing amazing nails & hair and have tanning on site. They constantly support us during our lunch specials and we appreciate them more than you know! Check out their page - they are local here in town ✂️ 💅🏼
⭐️ Legendary Super Sauce Have you tried these sauces yet? They’re amazing! Jerry makes all kinds and we use his Root Beer BBQ on our pulled pork sandwiches and they always sell out (the sauce is that good!) Jerry also has a DJ business Prestige Worldwide Entertainment and comes highly recommended in the wedding business community!
⭐️ Waters Custom Catering These guys came to our absolute rescue when working a wedding together last summer and we forgot DESSERT PLATES 🙈 They gave us some of theirs and saved us, and everyone loved their food - another great choice if you are in need of catering!
⭐️ Wheels Unlimited Taylor is probably our most frequent flyer/repeat offender here at the cafe and we can’t thank him enough for constantly supporting us almost daily. He singlehandly keeps the doggy donut market up! Taylor owns a great bike shop just down from us on Liberty Street. Check him out for your outdoor adventure needs and be greeted by his 3 pups when you walk in 🚲 🐾
⭐️ Kate's Dahlias You will not find bigger, more stunning Dahlias in the entire world. We’re not sure how Kate does it but she grows the most massive prize winning flowers you’ve ever seen - and makes bouquets for sale with local delivery!
⭐️ Krookid Leyk Distilling The cocktails these guys are making though 😍 We did a drink and macaron pairing last spring and people could not stop talking about how beautiful the place is and how amazing their spirits are! They also have food trucks and events so definitely be sure to check out Keukas best and newest distillery.
⭐️ Estornes&Boor Boutique Angi and Maryanna have bar none the cutest and top tier clothing operation going! Their clothes are amazing and both girls are some of the most supportive, kindest business women in the game right now! You can find their clothes online, in their loft with personalized styling, and events all around the southern tier!
⭐️ Scoops & Blooms These girls have the cutest gift shop next to their greenhouse and ice cream stand. Tons of drink options like lotus & bubble teas, and they make ice cream cakes!
⭐️ Forever Flower Farm Ainsley makes the most beautiful farm grown bouquets and arrangements out there. She makes our wreaths for the holidays and her flowers are just stunning
⭐️ Poppysea floristry Kelsea also has another incredible floral business and doubles as a photographer! She is our go to when we need all the moody boho stems for our cakes and dessert tables
⭐️ Vines and Barrels Wine and Liquor Warehouse This is where we go for anything we need when it comes to adding red wine to our French onion soup, little airplane bottles for cake toppers, and our own personal stash for those long work weeks 😅 they have a great selection and are located right on 54
⭐️ Kenzie Gates Photo - Kenzie’s photography is bar none. She has photographed so many of our desserts and is a rare find in the wedding community - she is smart, driven, kind, and insanely talented. she brings your vision quite literally to life in photographs
⭐️ Stunning & Brilliant Events Bianca is the girl to call when you have an event or wedding that you want coordinated. when i tell you she gives top notch professional and efficient service i mean it! she pulls off the most amazing events with ease and we cannot recommend her enough.
⭐️ Simple Marketing by Meg Need a business card designed? How about a website or Menu? Meg is the girl to call. She’s not only talented in bringing your ideas to fruition but she makes it look easy! Get in touch with her for all your communication and marketing needs.
⭐️ RJ Pet and Aquarium Supplies Jeanette has a local pet store for all of your furry friends needs. Shes knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. She carries so many kinds and types of food and supplies - consider her shop before a big box store or online! you wont regret it.
⭐️ Bath veterinary hospital - Our local vets office, these guys go above and beyond for our pets. Our pets will not go anywhere else and they serve up the best animal care around. If you’re looking for a new place to have your animals well cared for, look no further.
⭐️ Delightful Doggie Bandanas We constantly post about these ladies, but the amount of work Patty and Christine do for the animals at the Hornell Area Humane Society is incredible. they donate, not only their time, but 100% of the profits from their adorable handmade bows and bandannas to the homeless animals. They can make your fur babies pretty much any pattern you can think of, and you can rest assured shopping with them is going to a great cause.
🔧🧰 We’d like to also give a quick shout and thank you to both Longwell Lumber and Dave’s Plumbing. Anytime we need a part, paint, a piece of wood, something electrical, a carpet cleaner, or even a dowel shaved down to stabilize one of our tiered cakes, both businesses have been a huge help. Both are within walking distance of us and we highly recommend each establishment 🪛
Most of these places offer gift certificates, and have specials running for Christmas - but even just a like or a share helps us all flourish in this community. Word of mouth is free, and what it means to a small business is priceless.
