Iris and Saúl the people behind Moctezuma Catering

Saúl and I came to the United States in 1996 from Acapulco Guerrero in Mexico. There, from the age of 12, I learned to cook by observing and guided by my mother, who had a small restaurant. After a couple of years in this country we got to know each other while cooking and we understood each other very well in the art of cooking.

From now on we maintained a professional relationship and for some years we continued to work together in various restaurants.

Then, amid the aromas of spices, sauces and kitchen utensils, love flourished and we formalized a sentimental relationship as a couple, that is, without ceasing to be partners in gastronomy.

Today we have been married for 23 years, we have two children: a 15-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy, whom we have raised in a culinary environment, and they have seen in us the love of cooking, because in fact they also love it the kitchen.
