Everyone meet Joann.

The first time Wayne and I met Joann was at a wedding she was helping with at the barn. If you know her, then you would not be surprised to know she was helping clean off and wipe down tables. Little did we know then that she'd be helping us do that very same thing a few months later.

Joann loves to pitch in and do anything she can around here to help make your day run smoothly,
but you can best believe when the party starts, she’ll be on the dance floor. 💃

Joann knows EVERYBODY and is so outgoing! Not only does she enjoy life to the fullest, but she’ll enjoy helping you make some wonderful memories.

We are so thankful she loves this barn as much as we do.

We had a great time today hosting the South Edgecombe High School Class of 1965. It was such a joy to see everyone reconnect and share memories.

Ok y’all! We got one more day left in the month of January! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

It’s kinda bittersweet for me though. I’m certainly NOT a fan of the freezing cold weather we’ve been having, and I love when everything is green and lush at the barn. But I gotta say, the winter months definitely make for some beautiful pics around here too! Plus, I do love how it’s one of our “chill” months.

Not only are things slower on the farming side, but we intentionally block off January at the barn to recharge and take care of certain things before wedding season starts. It’s our time to refresh, organize, and make sure everything is perfect for the celebrations ahead. I mean, ya girl has got to have a break from time to time!

While I have really enjoyed this much needed break, I can’t tell you how happy I am to say goodbye to January! 👋🏻

Longer and warmer days are coming y’all!

Not gonna lie, I’m not a big fan of snow, but I must admit, it does make some beautiful photos. ❄️🤍

The and I are so excited to be bringing back our annual Ladies Night at the barn market! Last year’s event was so much fun and we decided this is our favorite event that we do each year. We’re super excited for this year and finally agreed on a cowgirl disco theme.
