A Happy Anniversary picnic lunch for a lovely couple... after a day of hiking and kayaking...

LDH Private Chef prepared, a spread of local meats and cheeses, from both Fullers Smoked Meats and Eden Valley Creamery....olives, nuts, fresh bread and a berry compote.
Deviled eggs with a horseradish kick, finished with crunchy cucumber over a bed of mixed greens.
Slow roasted pork loin with a vanilla vodka peach sauce.
A summer spread ✨️ 💛 💕

For dessert, Cranberry Orange White Chocolate Cookies and Hello Dolly bars (a coconut chocolate pecan bar with graham cracker bottom)

many wild Medicinal Plants have the ability to withstand the over consumption of humanity, but some will indeed become extinct if we do not do our part to responsibly source.
over consumption is a really real thing.

Back when the Department of Agricultural (and others) sent out pamphlets, I happen to have a dozen or so about how to grow your own food
Back when Victory Gardens and small family farms ruled the world and the government fully supported it.

Im getting ready to start a publishing called "The Clover Field 🍀" that will be sent out quarterly. This will be a paid publication. Stand by for details.

"FRESH OFF THE MARKET"... a beautiful country bridal shower for a local gal.

Her family did all the rearranging of the barn layout and prepared the foods for her, showering her with housewares and memorable moments 💖
I must say, this was a stunningly beautiful and elegant set up with rustic country charm.... perfect for the homestead as its background.

Looking to book a bridal or baby shower... we have a few dates available this summer and fall.... and booking for 2026.

ITS HORSE FLY SEASON! 🪰
Yeah... I'm just as excited as you are, swatting those lil buggers while driving zero turn is actually fairly comical.. and a bit risky!

Solution~
Lavender and Castor oil.. Lavender is super strong, soothing to bites, and a natural repellent.
Castor oil is THICK, flys are not drawn to landing on it cause they can get a good grip of your skin.
You can mix the two together and coat your skin... A PLETHORA OF BENEFITS, not just for horse fly season... I find myself drawn to this beautiful blend often to keep my skin young and glowing and healthy ✨️
