This beautiful historic house is available to rent for your next function. The Bailey House was built in 1887 by William S. Bailey, founder and first president of Union National Bank, Macomb, Illinois. Rental hours are by arrangement

Fully equipped kitchen is available —stove/oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, two double sink areas, large working center counter, some cooking

ware and table service. Yard space is available north of the building approximately 75’ x 60’ surrounded by a single decorative pipe fence. Weddings, anniversaries, bridal and baby showers, family gatherings and other celebrations have been held here. Club meetings, dinners, vendor presentations, retirement receptions, college panhellenic groups, plays and haunted tours have been held here as well. The house can accommodate 50 people sitting down using all 3 of the main floor rooms. We have eight 6’ tables and approximately 50 folding chairs. Convenient parking is available on the street and just steps away in a large lot by the former Maid Rite restaurant to the west of the house. There is a wheelchair lift for handicapped guests. The key for lift operation is provided when the facility is booked. Details of the Bailey House:
The house is an Eastlake style Victorian structure that features a grand foyer with large elaborate cherry staircase, a reception parlor, drawing and dining rooms, library and kitchen. Also displayed in the interior are hardwood and parquet floors, wood and iron fireplaces, and elegant lighting fixtures.
