This past weekend was super busy in the winery AND the tasting room. We were very happy to see so many of you took advantage of the beautiful weather and clean us out of charcuterie boards 🤣.
We were also busy processing both Syrah and Alicante Bouschet grapes. I’ll try to add a photo of the bin with juice and skins.

If you are planning to enjoy the long weekend locally, we hope you will spend some time with us.

Have you ever wondered how we came up with the name "Birdstone"? Well, there's a plaque in the tasting room that tells a tale from Tony's childhood.

Our tasting room staff are a talented crew both in and outside of the tasting room. These beautiful creations by Travis are available for purchase. Each piece is made from barrel staves, and you have a choice of votives. Travis tells me he’s working on a 5 (possibly a 7) votive holder. That’s going to be a statement piece on anyone’s dining table!

If you're planning to include Birdstone Winery on your next wine tasting itinerary, here is some helpful information:

1. We don't require reservations for groups less than 8. In fact most of our guests are walk in. However, if your group is 8 or more persons we would love a call ahead of your visit... 559.974.4440. This "heads up" gives us a chance to bring in adequate number of staff to take care of everyone.

2. Allow at least an hour for your visit with us. Preferably longer. We hope you can relax and savor our many wines

3. Talking of "many wines", our typically pour 6-8 1oz tastings. It depends on what's available that day, but we will pour you all that we have open.

4. You don't want to do the tasting? You can purchase our wines by the glass or by the bottle to enjoy immediately.

5. Picnic! We have Cheese & Charcuterie items available for purchase. However, you are very welcome to bring along your own food items. AND Yes, you may feed the staff ... they're friendly and usually famished ... 🤣🤣

6. Yes, you may bring in your own water and non-alcoholic beverages. But again, we do have some on hand for purchase.

7. During these hot summer months it's always a good idea to have a cooler in your vehicle to keep your wine purchases from popping their corks.

8. Check our most recent post each week. We will post the hours and staff. Sometimes we may need to close early for private events. If we do, the information will be on the weekly post.
