If you live in Madison, you probably know Liz and Steve of the Old Schoolhouse Deli, who have always been kind and generous both in our town and to me and my shop Folklore.

Their son, Kyle, lives in Florida, and his home and all of his possessions were destroyed from Hurricane Helene. It’s not safe to stay there, but he has to remain nearby in order to work with FEMA to get what little support he can… and now Hurricane Milton is barreling toward his home. The time has come for community-to-community support. Please consider donating to Kyle’s GoFundMe, and whether or not you donate, please share Kyle’s story. Thank you.

So happy to have two new local women artists brands in Folklore! Come check out these gorgeous paintings and prints by award winning artist - we met when she came by the shop one day and bonded over our love of the 🌊

We also have canvas and felt pennants and flags from CT Women owned . They were kind enough to make some custom flags for us, as well as some from their debut line. We love these as gifts and perfect for your beach house decor! Stay tuned as we feature more about both of our new brands, as well as some fun upcoming events!
