Applications for the Madison Hmong New Year 2026 are officially OPEN for Food Vendors and Exhibitors!

🗓 Event Date: October 31 & November 1, 2026

⏰ Application Deadline: June 15, 2026

***Comments will be turned off. Booth fees will not be posted publicly to prevent any misunderstanding or misinterpretation.

Dancers, can you honor your mom in just 3 sentences? We are gifting waived badge fee to the entire Mom Squad of one lucky team. Honor your mom, win for the whole team!

How to enter:

3. Eligibility: Must be a dancer on a currently registered 2026 roster.

MHNY President and Vice President will be selecting the winner based purely on the most touching story. If your story is selected, every registered mom on your team gets their admission/badge fee waived.

Our Senior Flare, Junior Luster, and Mini Shimmer tiers is now FULL. However, we aren’t done yet! Our Petite Spark tier has not yet reached its minimum requirement.

If our Petite tier doesn't reach its minimum before deadline, we will reallocate those spots to allow 3rd team spots for all other tiers.

** THE FINAL UPDATE**

To everyone, all our supporters, far and near. We want you all to know that we listened and took notice of everyone's voice, whether it's concerns, constructive criticism, or words of encouragement. We've made some changes and then some more due to increased interest in this year's Madison Hmong New Year. This is the last update for now. We will not be answering any more questions on this post as we work to finalize this year’s dance rules and guidelines to avoid further confusion for all parties. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Once we have the completed rules, we will post them.

We will allow TWO TEAMS from the same school, per tier. HMONG round can be any style melody. Although we cannot accommodate everyone’s requests, we are doing our best and remain firm in our vision for this year's dance competition.

THE BIG UPDATE: The Unity Round (Optional Entry) The Unity Round is now an exclusive challenge for Junior and Senior tiers.

- This is a separate, stand-alone round. Your main division placement does not affect your eligibility.
- All participating teams will compete to the same shared music track.
- How to join: select "yes" on your application to opt in.
- Limited to the first 5 "yes" timestamps.
