Hi Friends and Family,

Thank you for making the Madison Hmong New Year an eventful event, as you all may know with any event there's always room for improvement. Our mission is to bring the community closer together and build connections, to be the change and make the difference.

We would love for the community to feel like the New Year belongs to them. Please take some of your time to help us be better, whether your suggestions be positive or negative, please fill out our survey. We will also enter you into our raffle for a few cash prizes.

Lastly, the Wisconsin Hmong Association Inc and the Madison Hmong New Year committee will be having a TOWNHALL on November 16th at Madison College at the Truax Campus in room D1630 and will be going LIVE on facebook and in-person to discuss our finances and expenses as well as have a Q&A session, please join us.

We also want to give a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated in the Paj Ntaub Time Warpfle. Your enthusiasm for celebrating authentic Hmong vintage clothing was truly inspiring! Your support means so much as we continue to grow together and supporting the preservation of Hmong cultural arts and our Hmong clothing exhibited costs.

Madison College invites the community to share the celebration at its 5th annual Hmong New Year event on Dec. 6 at the Truax Campus.

The event will feature Hmong food vendors, a marketplace of Hmong arts and crafts, children's activity stations, live performances, singing competitions, and community resource tables offering information and opportunities to get involved. Masaya Xiong, co-chair of the Madison College Hmong New Year Celebration, invites the public to join the celebration.
