Almost 500 motorcyclists and friends attended the premiere at the Barrymore Theatre. This successful event led some to suggest that it should be repeated again.

The premiere of American Café (http://2soc.net/americancafe), a locally-made movie about the Crud Run and the motorcycle gang that started it, occurred last year (2010) the Saturday before the spring Crud Run. To answer this call, the SCMG® LLC will hold an Annual SCMG® Film Festival each spring on the weekend before the Crud Run. The Annual SCMG® Film Festival is intended to provide an inexpensiv

e and fun motorcycle-related experience that complements the Sunday Crud Run. The main event is the showing of a motorcycle- related film. This year’s presentation is Hogslayer: The Unapproachable Legend. This film, and many others on our list of motorcycle-related films, is a motorcycle movie about motorcycles. Others on the list are motorcycle movies with motorcycles in them, including The Wild One and Easy Rider. The list includes movie classics and locally-produced gems. A special motorcycle(s) will be on display in the lobby of the Barrymore Theatre. Our intent is to display a motorcycle(s) that is in some way relevant to the main feature movie. We depend on the generosity of collectors for this important Annual SCMG® Film Festival feature. Everyone attending the film is invited to stay afterwards for a party with cash bar in the Barrymore lobby. We will play a background sound track and replay the movie shorts and trailers during the party.

The SCMG Film Festival - "Walter" Documentary Show
of Friday, October 1st, 2021, in Madison, Wisconsin -
POSTPONED

The Edge Ltd. producer of the "Walter" documentary in conjunction with the SCMG Film Festival is rescheduling the October 1st, 2021 showing of the "Walter" documentary at the Barrymore Theater in Madison, Wisconsin, due to extended COVID restrictions. "Walter" producer, James Cutting, of The Edge Ltd. states "That the recently announced mask requirements do not lend to a comfortable theater experience and there are advantages to reschedule the "Walter" showing for the spring of 2022." The SCMG Film Festival "Walter" show will be scheduled to coincide with the May SCMG Motorcycle Run at a date yet to be announced.

UPDATE....We have had an overwhelming response to this post and many asking about where we got it from. Here is the link .The website is www.epikitchen.com. They created it but they sent quotes to a local supplier for me to purchase through.

This is something that we have incorporated @ China Elementary to see how it works. It's called a "share cart" and how it works is this....If a student decides they do not want any of their unopened packaged items(milk, apples,carrot) that is with their meal, they can drop it in the "share cart" for a student that is maybe still hungry and would like another serving of fruit, milk,etc. Also if a student does not want a certain packaged item, and there is one in the cart, they can trade it out for something they would enjoy more. The Share cart is refrigerated to keep said items from spoilage.
