Senior Sessions are always more fun when I get to capture all the things you love.
Peyton's session last night was a mix of all his hobbies and passions! Not only did that allow me to get to know him just a little bit better, but I think it also helped his images feel more natural to him!

We spent the first half of her senior session near downtown Portage, then made our way to the beach just in time for sunset!
Last year we documented their journey to becoming Mr. and Mrs. and this year it's Mom and Dad! 🥹

Meet the first senior spokesmodel of this year, Briana!
I was so impressed by this girl's dedication to her passions- and her disciplined schedule! She juggles her job as a CNA with high school and club volleyball, open gyms, weightlifting, and of course a social life. She was so calm and confident in front of the camera, and our time together flew by in the best way.
We've been so lucky to have photographed two of Drew's siblings' special days, so when he and Lauren reached out to us we we're pretty stoked for another reunion. The Dixon family is full of kind hearts, and they certainly know how to plan a great party. While we had met them before at the weddings, this was the first time I really got to spend time with just Lauren and Drew and see what makes their bond so special.

Lauren and Drew are an incredibly sweet, down to earth adventure loving couple who love their girl Dixie like non other! When they wanted an outdoorsy vibe for their engagement photos with a little privacy and plenty of space for their pup to roam free- I knew just the spot!
We could not have asked for a more beautiful night, and lucky for these two I took WAY too many photos because honestly- with a group this cute how could you not?

As many of our couples grow their families I’m starting to feel a natural shift in our portrait sessions with more bellies and more babies on the horizon. And I’m here for it!! 😍

As our own baby countdown draws closer, I’m posting this as a friendly reminder that I will be on maternity leave this spring! 🌸
As a result, the spokesmodel team will be smaller this year to ensure that each senior gets a prime summer date! There is currently ONE spot left on the team!
Regular senior and portrait sessions will still be available and dates will be released after spokesmodels have selected theirs!
We can still welcome 2-3 couples with October-December 2024 wedding dates into our family, so if you haven’t reached out yet, now is the perfect time! 🤩
And lastly, we have not opened our 2026 calendars just yet. For those of you who are exceptionally organized and on the ball, I applaud you! We have historically chosen to release our calendar roughly 18 months in advance because it serves our family best.

A fun event for the Kuffel Photography Senior Spokesmodel Team this winter featuring an adoptable rescue dog!
While out for a little fresh air with the fam, I stumbled across this beautiful location and decided on a whim to put a post out asking if anyone wanted a session here.
At 35 weeks pregnant, Jess excitedly answered YES! As a photographer herself, she had thought she'd just hand off her camera to a friend- but the timing of this was so much better and it allowed her to enjoy the experience.
Jess and I connected 3 years ago when she was on my labor and delivery team with Beau, so being able to see her again felt extra special.
With just a few weeks between our pregnancies, it was fun to share stories and catch up. But most of all, it felt like a gift to capture this beautiful stage of their lives and reconnect with someone who was right there when I became a mom.
The spring tease we had this weekend could not have come at a better time, as we had already been planning a family session for this trio!
A little fresh air and family snuggles left us all smiling and grateful for the chance to connect and capture their love.
This shoot was so special to me and I cannot thank this team enough.
A few months prior, we had lost our dog of 15 years- Hero and I found myself in an emotional and creative rut. In an attempt to bring a little sunshine to those dark days, I pitched the idea of a styled shoot with the theme “Here Comes the Sun” to Stephanie at Harvest Moon Pond. I had one major ask- to include an adoptable dog in the session. It was a way to spread a little love to a pup in need as tribute to the one I wish was still here. 🤍
Since this shoot, our sweet model dog- Frankie found his forever family, and I’ve had the opportunity to partner with Winston's Wishes again to feature more adoptable dogs in my photos!
While nothing will ever fill my heart in the way Hero did, I’m happy to help more dogs and humans find a bond like ours. 🤍
