As a reminder, when online orders are placed through third party sites, there are a large amount of additional costs that are taken out by the company processing the order. When the orders are sent to us to fulfill, the dollar amount available to make the order is significantly less than what you were charged when you placed the order.
The same thing might occur if you place an order through another florist in a different city or state for delivery within the area that we service. We work with a large number of florists across the country to help make it possible for customers in our area to have things delivered to loved ones who might live farther away. When we forward the orders to the florists in other areas, we have to factor in the product and location when providing you with a price quote for your order. The same thing is true if your order is wired to us from another florist, we have to make the amount of money provided cover both the product and the delivery costs.
There is a convenience to ordering online, however, if you would like to get the most out of your money, call us directly and place your order (or come in and see us). We are here to help in any way we can.
