Did you know when you shop at 1-800-flowers, Avas Flowers, Terrys Flowers, any order gatherer, you are actually paying more for your order, getting less and giving your money to a large corporation.

Did you know when you shop at 1-800-flowers you are actually paying more for your order, getting less and giving your money to a large corporation?

1-800-flowers charges you a $14.99 service fee and an additional $2.99 for a Saturday delivery. When you click the service fee icon they show a picture of a florist hand delivering your order and explain that your order is hand delivered by a florist. While that is true sometimes, many times no florist will accept their orders.

They do not give the delivering florist that $15.00 service charge to deliver or the $2.99 for the saturday delivery. In fact, they do not give the delivering florist anything to deliver. They also keep 27 percent of the posted price of the flowers and give the florist making the order no delivery fee and 73 % of the bouquet price to make and deliver your arrangement.

If your order is $69.99 plus the service fee of $14.99 plus the $2.99 saturday charge, you pay $87.97 plus tax.

The florist is given $51.08.

You are then getting a $41.08 arrangement and $10 to deliver.

Shop Local get a better product and put your money into your community by ordering local with a business who supports the local schools, volunteer organizations, and more things local. If you are ordering from a 800 number there is a definite possibility you aren't ordering from a local business but someone who might "say" they are local and are just a call center located in another state disguising themselves as the local florist.

Beautiful floral designs created by our talented floral design team at Magnolia Blossom Florist.

It was a gorgeous display of floral arrangements to honor and celebrate the life of Ms. Joan. She loved all things flowers and also enjoyed her time as a master gardener.💐

Good Afternoon Facebook!

We will be open our regular hours tomorrow (Jan. 11th) from 9 am to 12 pm! All funeral arrangements will be and have been delivered on schedule. Delivery within city limits is available tomorrow, but to ensure safety for our delivery driver, we will not be accepting out of town delivery tomorrow.

We will resume normal schedule on Monday!
