We have some very exciting news to share! Florida Max baseball is expanding to the Tampa ( Pinellas / Hillsborough )area. We are looking for 13U players that want to play at a competitive level this fall.

The head coach of the team will be Coach Dalton Martinez. He has experience coaching travel, high school, and college baseball. He is the son of World Series Champ and Nationals Manager Dave Martinez.

To say we are extremely proud of the coaches , players and parents is an understatement . When we put this team together , We didn’t have any labels attached, AA ,AAA or what ever labels people use. We just wanted to train and develop these youngsters in an atmosphere that was competitive and conducive to growth . I thank these parents for trusting Martinez Athletix and not running off simply because the immediate impression didn’t fit your perceived expectations or ego.

To say I’m extremely proud of this organization is an understatement. 4 of 6 of our academy teams competed this weekend , including the debut of our FL MAX Nationals player development team(AAA/Major) who went 3-1 losing to ZTPrime . As we continue to grow we will always stand committed to player development and making the necessary adjustments to offer the best and most consistent training for our local youth athletes .
