Sending well wishes this evening to all affected by the senseless act on historic Bourbon Street including our cyber friend, Steve Witschel, creator of Cover Band Central. Hang in there man. We see your home and workplace is suffering tremendously and prayers go out to the families and souls of the victims.

As you move forward, know that we appreciate what you contribute between gigs for musicians and the cover sector and wish you all well.

Welp, That’s a wrap.

This clip sure doesn’t do the band justice. Better to remember the glory days and let their body of work as a whole be their legacy rather than to have supported the ugly ending by bothering to attend this show. This “finale” under the gun by Cronin’s choices only tarnished what had otherwise been a spectacular run.

Bands end, but withholding a proper farewell tour with Bruce was not only an insult to his band mates, he screwed over their decades old devoted and loyal fans in addition to his own self - and for nothing. Way to fk that up for all KC. 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄

The song was a tribute to Elton John's influence on the band, particularly his 1973 album Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding. Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses had said that he wanted the song to be a grand piece of music to pay homage to John.
