A sold out Lei Wili Workshop this morning at Haku Maui! Mahalo to everyone for coming to make lei with us! 🤍
Aloha Kākou,
As we navigate through the recent Maui Wildfires and continue to ʻauamo kuleana as a community, Maui continues to need your support and kākoʻo in keeping our economy open. We need the likes of both kama’āina and malihini to continue to support our local businesses and local economy so that we, as a kaiaūlu, can continue to give as well. Please continue to support our economy through responsible travel, shopping local, and sharing this message to assist us in amplifying our voices.
Lāhainā is closed. West Maui is grieving.
But the rest of Maui remains open.
Mahalo to all for your outpouring of aloha and to those who have donated and supported the recovery efforts on Maui. We are in this for the long haul and will do everything we can to keep going so that we can keep giving.
Like many other local businesses, our ʻohana has put our whole life into what we do at Haku Maui. When you support us, you also support the many other local farmers and businesses that keep Haku Maui open and operating. We hope to keep our doors open for you for years to come.
I am honored to speak alongside these voices of our community. Please watch until the end to hear our message of awareness and aloha.
Mahalo for your time.
Me ke aloha,
Britney Alejo-Fishell

Hau’oli Lā Lei 🌿 From our hale to yours, introducing our Pillow Pūliki. Now available online. Limited supply available so get yours before they go! Pareo Pūliki restock now available online too!
In this lei we tell a story of home. Of our wahi pana, our sacred space. From the heights of Haleakalā down through Hamakuapoko as we meet at the shore. We seek out mea kanu and the deeper meanings of our native plants. We adore the local flowers that bloom. We are transported through fragrance and beauty of these pua. And we take root through the ferns that thrive right here at Haku Maui. At glance, each lei is beautiful, but as you look closer, the story deepens and it begins to unfold.
Life and the decisions we make can be described as a lei. As we weave together the memories we make and the people we meet, we weave together the story of our life and who we are.
Our family, our words, our intentions, our movements, and our elements weave together, piece by piece, to make up the story of our life, much like a lei.
Piece by piece we surround ourself with what we love. These treasures can transport you to a place of strength and resilience. Or even to a memory of a pūliki from a loved one. Keep them close to you and close to your heart.
Me ke aloha,
Brit
