There will be no trash pickup on Friday, July 4 due to Independence Day. Friday customers will get trash collection on Saturday, July 5, 2025. Please make sure your trash carts are out to the curb prior to 6 a.m. on your collection day.

Stonewall Park Pool is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the 4th (weather permitting). All City offices are closed on the 4th.

This week’s Acoustic Tuesday concert on July 1 features Travis Tucker, best known for his appearance on American Idol Season 4, where he advanced to the top 16. If you need a place to cool off during this heat wave, Stonewall Park Pool is offering a 50% discount on admissions from today, Monday June 23 through Friday June 27. The pool is open Sunday through Thursdays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday and Saturdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Remember during this heat wave:
🌡️ Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water...your body’s best defense against turning into a human puddle.
🕶️ Shade & Cover: Seek shade whenever possible.
Dress Smart: Light-colored, loose-fitting clothes are your new best friends.
❄️ Cool Down: Use fans, air conditioning, or even a damp cloth on your neck... anything to chill out.
🚫 Limit Outdoor Activities. Try to stay indoors during the hottest parts of the day (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
If you need a place to cool down during the day, the Manassas Museum is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Manassas City Library is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Tomorrow, June 21 is the Manassas Bee Festival at Liberia from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A 2K "Honey Hike" starts at 9:15 a.m. from the Manassas Museum Lawn to hike to the event at Liberia. A tractor shuttle will provide free rides from the Manassas Parking Garage (9102 Prince William Street, across from the museum lawn) to the festival at Liberia and return rides back to Historic Downtown Manassas.

The Harris Pavilion is the event pavilion in the City of Manassas. In the summer, events include free concerts, movies, ice cream socials, the Farmer’s Market and so much more. In the winter months there is ice skating. Welcome.
