Veteran’s Day Commemorations today, November 11 include:
• Veterans Day Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Manassas Veterans Memorial at the corner of Main and Prince William Streets at 8:30 AM.
• Flag Placements at the Manassas Cemetery, on Center Street across from the City of Manassas Rescue Squad, at 9 AM.
• A Veterans Day Ceremony at Harris Pavilion at 11 AM

The final First Friday of the year is coming up this week on Friday, November 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. The theme is “Thanks for Giving” and you will find lots of live music, family-friendly activities, special events, and a chance to sip and stroll through closed Downtown streets.

Drivers: Please slow down and watch for young trick-or-treaters in unexpected places.
Parents: If children are out after dark, give them glow sticks or flashlights.
Makeup is always safer than masks, which can block vision.
A responsible adult should accompany young children on the neighborhood rounds.
If older children are going alone, plan and review a route and return time.
