Inspired by the legacy of Ogden Pleissner – who once had his studio right here at the farm – we love hosting events that celebrate Vermont’s beauty, whether it be painting workshops or art classes.

This stunning piece was painted by local watercolor artist Ned Reade, capturing the magic of fall at our property. This piece was also featured in the fall issue of ! ✨

Today, we honor those who served our country, including painter Ogden Pleissner, who was a resident of Boorn Brook Farm. As an official war artist during WWII, Pleissner captured moments of resilience and strength, and later, his award-winning landscapes celebrated the beauty of New England, Wyoming, and Nova Scotia. His legacy lives on here at Boorn Brook Farm, where he found peace and inspiration. 🌿
