I also had an amazing senior portrait session yesterday! I was very thrilled to walk around the corner and see that my clients brought their beautiful, HUGE (102 lbs), Doberman. So of course we had to get a solo shot of him. Besides a good mutt, Dobies are my favorite breed of dog ever... so I was pretty excited

For all you Walking Dead fans his name was Neegan… how perfect is that?!

In honor of National Mutt day I am sharing my very own PawSafe Animal Rescue foster fail, Marshall. If anyone ever wondered "Do I really want to rescue a puppy from a rescue?" The answer is YES, yes you do... this is the best puppy I have ever had. He is just as amazing as any purebred dog that costs thousands of dollars (nothing against purebred dogs I love and respect responsible breeders and have owned a few myself!). My other mutt, Hunter, is the dog in my cover photo, he comes from the Connecticut Humane Society.

By adopting them I helped to make room at the rescue for another dog to come in and be saved instead of having to be euthanized like the approximately 1.5 million animals in US shelters each year who never get the chance to have their own families because of lack of space. When I take these photos of the rescue puppies and dogs that need to find a loving family I do that in hopes that with your help of sharing their photos we can help to find their potential family. Every time a dog is adopted not only are you saving them but also whoever the rescue is able to take in next. So to those of you that have the honor of being able to love a mutt be proud! To those of you that foster you are amazing and help these babies learn what love is! To everyone who can't adopt or own a dog right now for whatever the reason may be every share, comment, and like is pretty awesome too!

Buddy is one of the 48 dogs that are available for adoption at PawSafe Animal Rescue in Ellington. No puppy (or adult dog) should have to grow up in a shelter!

It's fun when you have friends that have photography skills and did a mini glamour shoot with the girls! These were some of our favorites that we got but man is it hard to get those girls to stand pretty!

For the 15 and 16th of July PawSafe Animal Rescue is having a Dog Days of Summer Clear the Shelter event, every dog is only $200 dollars! These puppies pictured here are located in Ellington. Share away lets find these babies a home. They have 38 dogs between this location and their NY location looking for families.

What's included? 6 Digital images for you to download and use as you please. If there is more than 6 images in your gallery than I will give you the opportunity to purchase those additional images. As a special for Father's Day I will also be giving you 3 8x10 prints (a $75 dollar value)! Full payment is due in cash at time of session.
