Nelson brought together family and friends from across the country to honor the incredible Elaine, a loving wife, mother, and inspiring business leader.

🎉 After her courageous battle with breast cancer, Elaine’s wish was always to experience Mardi Gras—and Nelson made sure her wish came true in the most unforgettable way. 💜💚💛

The celebration kicked off with a welcome party at The Distillery, followed by a night full of laughter, music, and memories that will last a lifetime. From family to college besties, everyone came together to share stories, smiles, and joy in Elaine’s honor.

We had the honor of hosting a beautiful and unique Celebration of Life for a beloved librarian in our community.

The family encouraged guests to participate in a meaningful book swap, with custom "in memory of" stickers placed inside each book. Any books left at the end of the event were generously donated.

Our space was transformed using on-site items to create a warm and inviting atmosphere:
📕 A book at each place setting
🌼 Bud vases for a touch of elegance
🫖 Tea lights for a soft, ambient glow
🍴 Farm tables providing a rustic charm without the need for linens
📖 In-house furniture arranged to create cozy book nooks for reading and gathering
🧀 Delicious food from a local grocery store beautifully displayed across our custom U-shaped bar
