Hey Gang!! It’s been a minute. But good things continue to come our way as our film was just accepted into its 19th festival! This time it’s Playhouse West film fest, which only accepts films which have a Playhouse West student or alum as part of the cast or crew. Well guess who has studied there…. Our own Young Jack played by Kermit C Burns!!!

Thank you, Kermit for getting us to this one and congratulations to everyone involved in the film that just keeps marching on!!!

This time the “little film that could” has won the BEST SHORT STORY at the American Filmatic Arts Awards in Brooklyn, NY!!! Number 17 on the acceptance tally board and right to the win!

Congratulations to everyone as the “Moneyball”-like streak continues!!! Yay!!!

Hey Gang! Well this one is very bittersweet, considering the events of the past week.

But life works on strange time tables, and the little film that could continues to spread the magic.

“A Touch of Magic” wins Best Live Action Short at the St Auggie Short Film Festival!!!

This is the first festival the film has been in contention for that Letizia and I have had the chance to actually attend, and well what do you know…. we won best short film for the entire festival!

After losing our good friend Rene Uzee earlier in the week, we didn’t feel emotionally like we could (or even should) go. But Brenda Uzee insisted us to do so….telling us that Rene would absolutely want us to still attend. So we did.

I like to dedicate the film’s win to both Brenda and to the memory of our dearly departed friend Rene Uzee. Thank you both for your endless support, belief and love. It means the world to us. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Congratulations to all cast and crew….this one is most special, and I share it with you all.

Hey Gang, we got into another one! This time it’s we’re gettin’ our kicks and our fix on Route 66 at the Sunny Side Up Film Festival in Oklahoma!

This makes the 15th festival that A TOUCH of MAGIC, the little film that could has been accepted to as the streak continues!
