Hi everyone! With soo many new faces and followers, I'd like to reintroduce myself and the face behind Royal Events, Candles & Décor!

My name is Maitee Gomez & can you believe we started over a decade ago! My team & I have been a part of soo many exciting weddings and events right her in the
New Orleans & our Gulf Coast area. I absolutely love to create, design & bring to life what I or my clients envision.

Been married for over 16 years to my best friend, George. We Meet at the tender age of 2. He too is Cuban American soo you can imagine what kind of party our very own wedding was!!

I am the only child to Cuban immigrants who fled their home country in the 1960’s, & was born right here in Louisiana!
I love embracing my (Cuban & Cajun) Culture traditions & sharing them with my three amazing babies. Well, one high schooler now, George (13) Armani (12) & Arabella (11)!

A proud graduate from Immaculata High School & a BA from New Orleans in International Business c/o 2002.

I love horse back riding & ranching with our kids on Sundays, but I also like a good boat ride down the Tchefuncte or staying at our favorite beach spot on 30A where we also do weddings!

My mom is my right hand, literally. Wouldn’t be able to do what I do with out her!!! Can you believe My grandmother is over 100 years old!! We are beyond blessed to have her around & celebrated her BIG this past year.

I studied Ballet & Dance for over 20 years & taught Salsa right here in Mandeville. My days are filled with being a Mom, A wife, a daughter, a Latin Female Business Owner, a coach of all kinds of sports, & so many other titles, but I wouldn’t change a thing!

I love what I do & I have the best teams, Both at home & at our office. It takes a village to be successful, & I wake up everyday feeling beyond blessed!
