Hey all, I will be away on a much needed vacation from April 25th - May 4th. I will get back to any all messages after this!

Hope to share some incredible moments from our trip. Also wish us luck driving on the left side of the road. 😅

For as much as I love being behind the camera, I find it so hard to show myself to others! So allow me introduce myself (thanks Rolling Stones).

- I grew up in a town of 1,800 people, my class had 22 kids 😂 It’s one of my favorite places to go back to. I love small town life.
- I am a huge sports fan, football, basketball, tennis, ultimate frisbee. Recently I have refound my love for lifting weights. 🏋🏻
- I can listen to any kind of music. Country is top but don’t sleep on Scottish highland bangers.
- I’m an Enneagram 7 so I’m always looking for what’s next or wanting to travel somewhere new.
- I have a had a group chat with 10 of my closest friends for the past 10 years. They help me recharge and appreciate life.
- Dogs are my love language. 🐶
- My wife is honestly my best friend. The moment anything happens in life she’s the first person I want to talk to.
- I’m about to turn 29 and with the birth of our first child I have found myself more emotional than ever. I cried at a Cody Johnson concert recently 😅

To all my former couples,

Although time has passed since your wedding, I am still supporting you and hyping you up!

I see when you get that new job, take the dream vacation or expecting your first kid. I tell my wife about each couple and what they are doing now. I’m cheering for your relationship, for your family, for you!

Our wedding day together has come and gone, but I am keeping the same energy and happiness for you as I did that day. And I hope you keep the same love and joy in your life as you did that day. 💜💜

2023 was one of the most exciting, challenging, successful years of my life and business. This year I caught myself second guessing every move as a new parent and growing a business. I compared myself to so many others doing “better” than me, thought “what am I doing wrong?”

But as the year progressed I realized everybody runs the race at their own pace, when you reflect back where you started, you realized you’ve ran a lot farther than most and my company has made it past 3 years - which is a great feat for many small businesses.

Thank you to all my amazing couples I have worked with in the past and the future. All my favorite friendors, I couldn’t do it without you all. And my amazing family!

How do you choose a wedding venue? Do you go for the family property that you grew up on? Your childhood church? The beautiful winery outside of town? There are so many things that go into making a venue great. Whether it’s brand new or on the national historical landmark (like this church). Make sure the venue is somewhere you feel the most comfortable in. What do you want your photos and video to look like? If you want an intimate church wedding, then maybe eloping in the forest isn’t the right choice. If you want an open white shed, then maybe a church wedding isn’t the move. What is your day about?

One of my favorite parts about editing is going back and catching moments like this. Something so small but it’s exactly how Emma and Hayden’s relationship is, never take anything too serious.
