We're back with another one of our favorite Venues and this time it is ! A venue that is gorgeous no matter the weather, and especially splendid in the snow.

Built in 1881 as a wedding gift, Alden Villa is a true piece of Pennsylvania history and one of our favorite venues to cater. Designed by famed architect Stanford White, this breathtaking Cornwall estate showcases Queen Anne and Shingle style architecture with touches of English Tudor revival.

Once spanning 520 acres, the mansion still retains much of its original charm like ornate woodwork, intricate details, and timeless elegance thanks to an ongoing restoration that has brought new life to this historic gem. Over the years, Alden Villa has been both a cherished family retreat and a community gathering space, and today it stands as a romantic, storybook setting for weddings and celebrations.

Back to our sharing of gorgeous Venues we love to work with, next up we have ! Only this is not just one venue, its FOUR! Having been in the business since 1973, this gorgeous sprawling space absolutely has the perfect backdrop for your special day!

Our Story

The award-winning Rettew’s Catering, headquartered in Manheim, PA is a family business, operated by a husband and wife team. Jennifer Rettew Bushey purchased the company from her father and previous business partner, Bruce D. Rettew. Their catering success, which spans over 30 years, is based on two simple principles:


  • Use only the freshest and finest ingredients to create distinctive cuisine.

  • Deliver what we promise – from executing flawless service to providing individualized character for your event.

    • In addition to Rettew’s meticulous attention to detail is the mouthwatering food, prepared by highly skilled chefs. Leading the kitchen crew is Executive Chef Owner, Steven Bushey, graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America and veteran of the food service industry. Rettew’s Catering rounds out their services with a team of expert catering consultants and a full ensemble of courteous wait staff and bartenders.
