GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT!

Beau Schemery has been involved in the comics scene since the mid-90s when he was self-publishing the anthology series Satan's Bake Sale with other Williamsport PA natives. He's contributed sketch cards to the Marvel Masterpieces card sets and was the artist on Solitaire for Space Monkey Comics. More recently he has published several young adult novels with Harmony Ink Press, including The 7th of London, its sequel, and two books in the Verses of Vrelenden series, The Unlikely Hero and The Last Blade. Beau's next project is an actual play D&D podcast, that is currently in the planning stages.

Jason Lenox is a freelance artist and comic book creator. His current project is the fifth issue of the independent 1980’s Sci-Fi and Fantasy inspired comic book, Lords of the Cosmos which was released in 2024. The Satanic Coloring Book Volumes 1 & 2 are his 12th successful crowdfunded project which was published in 2022.

Jason’s clients include the late Virgil Abloh, heavy metal band Dead Animal Assembly Plant, the internationally acclaimed Mistress Damazonia, and Unholy Icon Lady Vi.

Jason’s art has appeared in Antarctic Press’s Planet Comics, Printed in Blood’s Aliens - Artbook, Devils Reign IV: All of Them Witches, Dark Horse Comic’s King Conan, and Darkside Media’s Lovecraft P.I. crossover with Miskatonic High.

Mike Malbrough is the author and Illustrator of comics and picture books for Kids. His work has been published by Penguin Randomhouse, HarperCollins, Candlewick Press and Dynamite Entertainment. Primarily a watercolorist, Mike lives and works in New Jersey with his family that includes one old deaf cat and two raucous kittens!

Chris Ring has been a commercial illustrator for over 25 years. His comic credits include the “CarbonKnight” mini series, Edgar Allan Poe’s “Nevermore”,“The Perfect Victim”and two Star Wars card series. He illustrated the Children’s book “The Scariest Creature” which led to two “Seamus (the Famous)” graphic novels. He also wrote and illustrated the graphic novelette “Allan Quatermain and the Tomb of Hephaestus” which is currently running in “A Kid and a Comic”. Most recently has completed the hardcover Children’s book “Oscar the Oyster Saves the Day”.

IT'S BILL MORRISON!

Early in his career, Morrison worked in motion picture advertising where he painted dozens of movie posters, including many for Walt Disney Pictures such as The Little Mermaid, Bambi, Peter Pan, Cinderella and The Jungle Book. He then began working on the iconic property, The Simpsons where he created thousands of drawings for t-shirts, video games, posters, toy packaging, books, calendars, limited edition prints, etc. When The Simpsons creator Matt Groening founded Bongo Comics, Bill was hired on as art director and realized his cartoonist dreams when he drew the very first Simpsons comic. He quickly took on the role of Creative Director, editing Bongo’s entire output, and writing and drawing stories and covers as time permitted.

Morrison also worked with Groening on early character designs for the TV show Futurama and served as the series art director. He recently served as Artist and Designer on Groening’s Netflix series, Disenchantment. In addition to his work on The Simpsons and Futurama comics, Bill has written and drawn his own comic book series, the four-time Eisner Award-nominated Roswell, Little Green Man, and co-created three other comic book series; Heroes Anonymous, Dead Vengeanceand Lady Robotika (the latter with Jane Wiedlin of the legendary all-girl rock band, The Go-Go’s). Morrison also created a 96-page graphic novel adaptation of The Beatles, Yellow Submarine for Titan Comics. Most recently, Bill was the Executive Editor of the relaunched MAD Magazine, and also served as Art Director for Seriously’s, Best Fiends animated shorts
