4th grade went 1-1 in pool play, losing to a big Canton team and winning against the host IB Tigers.

They played a tough and large Kewanee team this morning, tied 12-12 at the half, the Raiders just ran out of steam in the second half. Kewanee won 30-18 to end the Raiders season.

An outstanding season with only 7 4th graders juggling multiple schedules to end up 9-15 overall. Many thanks to the parents for involving your boys, and also to the 3rd and 5th graders that played with us along the way. Looking forward to keeping these boys playing together and being a tough team in the coming years!

As our boys teams wrap up this weekend.. I'd like to give a big thank you to the coaches. Your countless hours of practice, research, & games the last 3.5 months are why we are able to continue the Forman Center travel programs. We can't thank you enough for your willingness to volunteer!

The 2nd/3rd grade squad earned themselves a 3rd place finish at the IB tournament! A zone defense is difficult to overcome at this age but these boys listened to the coaches, attacked it well, and knocked down some shots to defeat Lewistown 31-22 in the 3rd place game.

This team is made up of one 1st grader eight 2nd graders, and three 3rd graders. Most of the teams we played this season were 3rd grade teams.. and these boys battled to a very solid 19-8 record. The coaches are very proud of you boys!

Basketball is wrapping up this weekend for our youth programs! We are sending ALL FOUR boys teams to the Illini Bluffs tournament on Saturday and Sunday.

In case you're looking for something to do, all games are being played in the elementary/high school gyms that are right next to each other in Glasford. Should be a great weekend of hoops! Finish strong boys!

In an extremely tight and low scoring championship game, Will stepped to the free throw line in a tie game with 10 seconds left and knocked down a free throw to take the lead! The win was sealed as Jacob stole the ball and ran out the clock.

The 2nd/3rd Raiders went 6-0 in league play and brought home the championship trophy! Congrats fellas and way to battle!

The 2nd/3rd squad went to Pekin to face some of the best competition they have seen all year. They took care of business against Dunlap in game one, but couldn't keep up with The Lab 3rd grade in the 2nd game to send them in the loser bracket.

The way the bracket was made, these boys had to play back-to-back-to back and didn't have the energy to keep up with an athletic Bloomington club team, who had a break before our game.

It was a great effort and a learning experience for these fellas! They play for a league championship tomorrow at 3pm against Hartem!

What a weekend! 4th grade started off with a tough loss to IC on Saturday where the Raiders played hard and led the entire game. Ben Deluhery led the team with 10 points, supported by Wesley Walker with 8, Conner Sauer with 4, Will Deluhery put up 3 and Diontay Carpenter added 1 with a free throw. But in the end the Cougars made some key makes in the last minute to take the lead and win 28-26.

Sunday brought a renewed hustle to the team, with a great battle against Delavan. The whole team played solid defense to again shut down key players and keep Delavan to just 11 points in the first half and 4 points(!) in the second half. Our offense was crisp with key passes and multiple assists from both Ben Deluhery and Wesley Walker. The majority of those assists ended up in the hands of Conner Sauer who had a year high 10 points from down low. Ace hit 3 jumpers for 6 points while Will, Diontay and Ben each had 2. Raiders win 26-15.

EIGHT different 2nd/3rd players entered the scoring column in today's convincing victory over Delavan!

Noah led the Raiders with 9 points, Diontay and Jacob had 8, Avery with 5, Easton had 4, while Clayton, Jaxson & Greyson finished with 2 points each!

They have a week full of practice then they head to the Pekin 3rd grade tourney on Saturday!

These boys show up to practice weekly to put the work in and continue to get better.. and it's starting to pay off! These boys picked up their first win of the season in exciting fashion after being down 8-2 early!

Deluhery led the way with 8 points, Tumilty with 6, then Shay and Pfanz rounded out the scoring with 2 each!

Our little Raiders extended their winning streak to 7 with a close win over Olympia for their final home game of the season! Easton had the hot hand with 10 points to lead the Raiders in a balanced scoring attack! Jacob added 6, Clayton & Diontay with 4, Will and Noah each with two!

They have two more this weekend with hopes to keep the streak alive! Congratulations to the 8th grade boys basketball regional champions! Thank you for being great role models on and off the court for our boys!

Your 2nd/3rd Raiders take sole possession of first place in the 3rd grade basketball league! Illini Central came in averaging 37 points per game and the suffocating Raider defense shut them down. Jacob led the Raiders with 13 points, Easton added 7, Clayton pitched in 3, Diontay & Will each added field goal.

The 4th grade Raiders hosted their league games this weekend, and Coach Walker would like to provide a special shout-out to those that helped with running concessions, door, scoreboard and book. You know who you are and it's greatly appreciated!

The Raiders had another great showing, after taking the lead early in the first half, they never let up. Wesley Walker and Ben Deluhery lead the team with 10 and 8 points respectively while Conner Sauer made 6 points in put backs. Ace and Diontay each swished some 15 footers. The entire team played solid defense shutting down key IC players to take the win, 28-25.

Noah went off for 18 points in his first game back from the flu going around! The Raiders defense made it difficult on the Tigers all game. Easton added 12 points and four assists.. while Wyatt added four and Greyson finished with two points as the Raiders tamed the Tigers 36-5 Sunday afternoon!
