I know we've been relatively quiet lately. As of now our mission is to find a welcoming all ages space where we can do shows. We've not had much luck so far, but we will not give up on this. Finding a space where our music community can gather and be themselves is very important to us.

This does not mean will stop doing shows now, it just means it might be more difficult and the amount of shows might be fewer until we find solid space.

Any and all suggestions/help is greatly appreciated!

I want to thank everybody for all the support and making this past year truly awesome. This was our first full year of shows at The Cherry Pit and it was honestly one of the craziest and best years of my life! So thank you from the bottom of my heart for making it a period of time that I will never forget.

With that said, the New Year brings a new name (Cherry Pit Promotions), new venues, and hopefully new faces, but my goals remain the same: provide a safe and welcoming environment where everyone can be themselves and to do my best to sustain and grow the great things going on in our music community.

I hope everyone has a happy and safe New Years celebration! Enjoy this video of one of our first shows of 2014 featuring Household.

Merry Christmas from the Cherry Pit family! We hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season. We would like to thank everyone for the continued support we have received over the last year or so and especially now considering the recent unfortunate events.

Unfortunately we will no longer be holding shows at the Cherry Pit, but that does not mean the end of all ages shows in Mankato. We have been working with one venue and we hope to secure more in which we will continue to book and promote local all ages shows and through which we hope to continue growing our awesome music community. If anyone has any leads on spaces where we might be able to do more shows any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

There will be a couple of cool show announcements coming within the next week so stay tuned for that!

Thanks for coming out in full force on Monday, Mankato! We had a bunch of really talented, young, and original bands and it was great to see genuine interest and enthusiasm for them!

Keep that excitement for original music and keep creating new things! Keep coming to shows and supporting things like that. Keep spreading the word and bringing friends, because there are many people who don't even know that this community exists. Our community is already grown so much over the last year or so! There is always room for new music and new faces!
